second recurrence

Hi ladies here I am again on my 2nd recurrence. A little bit unusual presentation as I complained of ongoing back pain had,had MRI and CT which had all been clear. Until the most recent scan showed a lymph node under my breast. They have not been able to biopsy it as I have just had a DVT

and so I am on blood thinners and it would be difficult to get to. My team are convinced the cancer has returned and I was started on Chemo. yesterday.

Feeling very low I thought I would have had more time NED. I actually had 11 months

I’m so sorry that you’ve had this news which has meant starting chemo again, such a blow I imagine.

It’s no wonder that you are feeling low and that’s allowed. Give yourself the space to begin to accept this next phase.

hope you are coping ok , hard I know , it’s always there in the back of your mind isn’t it?? I’m just going into the “after chemo” stage and waiting for the next scans that will tell you good or bad news . Stay strong try and stay positive ( hard I know) it’s just one step at a time sending love , I’m here if you need a chat xx

What was Your ca-125? Does it confirm reccurence?

It was 120 they found a lymph node in my chest.
