Trigeminy and Flecainide
I’m a female, 72 and have been in constant Trigeminy for a week now. Can someone tell me if taking 100 mg of Flecainide twice a day will help with the Trigeminy? My EP doctor prescribed the Flecainide in March for Afib however I haven’t started taking it yet because I have not been having problems with

Atrial Fibrillation
Hi, I have suffered with AF since 2018 resulting in 4 cardioversions and 3 ablations (the last was on Friday 17th May and was an AV node ablation linked with connection of a previously implanted Pacemaker. I had hoped that I would be feeling great, no breathlessness. Unfortunately that is not the case

Exercise induced AF
I’ve had a great 4 years since my AF diagnosis, able to live pretty normally in terms of my choice of exercise with 3 years AF free following my cardioversion and just a few increasing episodes of paroxysmal AF in the last year. Recently I felt that a triathlon bike/run training session set off my AF

Statins
I had a call from my GP surgery about taking statins.Apparently my cholesterol is okay but I have a 38% risk of having a stroke or heart attack. Even though I take anticoagulant statins work in a different way and are recommended for me as I am in persistent afib I do not want to take statins but wondered

Worried
I am a 41 year old male. I have always drank but only ever lager. Maybe 2 cans a night after work each night in the week and 7 or 8 cans on a Friday and a Saturday. Was getting little twinges under my right ribs and in my side so haven't drank for 2 months but the twinges are still there. Not painful

digoxin
Have been on Digoxin now for 6/12 and it has had a profound effect. Unable to take more modern drugs because I have Asthma. I am certainly much better than I was. I think it’s probably your hypotension drug causing your problems and have a consultation with your Gp.

"Failed" exercise stress test
I have AF, gradually worsening, with chest and throat pain during episodes. Cardiologist did an exercise stress test on Tuesday and stopped the test after 3 minutes. He told me I have ischaemic heart disease - which is a bit galling as I have never smoked and do not eat red meat, cheese, eggs etc. -

Plan to travel overseas in July. Permanent afib trying to adjust meds now to minimize side effects. On Digoxin, Lopressor, Eliquis. Any thoughts etc.

Bisoprolol
Hello, The cardiologist has swapped my medication from Verapamil to Bisoprolol, 2.5mg/day. So far so good as far as side effects go 👍 but there is one thing. I can't seem to get warm since the swap. Becoming mCRPC despite falling PSA
Hey guys, I got a question regarding my dad. He was diagnosed in summer 2022 with stage 4, Gleason 4+4, PSA of 122 and many osteoblastic bone metastases throughout the whole skeleton (very high volume) He did the triplet therapy, which lowered his PSA to 0.4 (January 2023). Scans afterwards stated

I have just been diagnosed with a fib, after years of suspecting something was amiss, but never having episodes when a doctor, and even a cardiologist, was seeing me. I bought a Kardia6L, which showed many afib episodes. I took that to my GP of 13 years, and he immediately swung into impressive action

Permanent AFib
Started on Digoxin .25 daily for past six days and cut Lopressor down to 25 twice a day. Am going to try to wean off. HR 80-110. Generally do not feel well and am going to revisit ablation. I had blurring of vision and dizziness on higher doses of Lopressor alone. Last cardioversion only lasted

Cholesterol and QRISK score
My GP has just completed my annual review and has referred me to the GP specialist Pharmacist to discuss statins. My cholesterol has always been well controlled with a reading of around 5 (I was told my good cholesterol was excellent). This year it has increased to 5.16 and he has also completed a QRISK

supplements for a fibs???
Has anyone here used magnesium or L arginine for atrial fibrillations? If yes, and you had good results, what were the dosages and how often daily? Thank you.

Basal Cortisol Test Result
I have recently had a basal cortisol test and my serum cortisol level is 296 nmol/L. I have an appointment with my GP on Wednesday to discuss. My test results says that this is normal but on reading information on the Internet I’m not too sure that this is entirely correct. I have found the following

Any treatment after Lu-177 (Pluvicto)?
I have metastatic prostate cancer and have taken two Pluvicto infusions, but my PSA has gone UP from 2,000 to 3,000. I understand this is the end of the line...unless anyone online has information on where to go from here. Frank.
