Stay well hydrated, avoid alcohol, allow extra time for any journey especially travel to airport etc to avid stress , make sure you have plenty of your medication in your hand luggage and above all relax and enjoy.

And as BobD says hand luggage, if your suitcases go on their own holiday you don't want the stress of either reaquiring meds or doing without for a period.

Yes, go live your life! As long as you do all the preparation beforehand, enough drugs, water, leave in good time for the journey and try to relax. Enjoy!!!

I have read in a travel forum that it is not a bad idea to put some electrolytes in your water to help avoid dehydration.

Have you investigated travel insurance options and do you have a plan if you require or want medical attention? I have medications in both my checked baggage and carry on. "Don't have all your eggs in the one basket."

I'm off to Bali in a few weeks so have been covering off on the above myself. “Hope for the best, plan for the worst”.

I have traveled internationally while taking Eliquis, with no problems. There was some adjustment due to time changes, but things worked out. Make sure you carry your meds with you. I also carried more than was needed just in case there were delays.
