Cerazette

i tried the cerazette twice, and found it really messed with my mood it was horrible!!

I was put on Cerazette and had nothing but trouble for the whole 3 months. Constant bleeding, terrible mood swings and depression. I went back to my GP and they put me on Norethisterone. The bleeding and mood swings have stopped but I have now been prescribed Zoladex injections for 3 months.

Ive been on cerazette for 10 years with very rare periods. But the past 6 months my periods have gone back to how they were before i started taking the pill, but with ridiculous boob pain. Does anyone know what could cause this?

I'm on the desogestrol pill to stop periods (cerazette) which I read can thin your vaginal walls therefore making it more tender down there... Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if there's any advice for next time?

Now 8 months later , I’ve just had my letter through to make an appointment with gynae but I’m worried they won’t want to do anything with me as since I’ve been on cerazette I haven’t had a period so haven’t had all of the awful symptoms I was previously having.

After my op I was put on cerazette and that unfortunately didn’t stop periods or do very much. I went back to the doctors and they then put me on Cerelle. Since being on this birth control I have still had the horrendous pain and more noticeably really bad migraines/headaches!

I’ve been doing some researching and everything seems to be pointing to endometriosis .. so with no help from doctors I’ve decided to start taking the cerazette pill to see if that helps.

Hi, I'm on the cerazette pill & I've been on it for 9 months now.. I have no periods at all, My belly always hurts and people say I look pregnant again.. I have took so many tests and they all come back negative, I really don't know what to do..

I have my next appointment on Wednesday, but my consultant said previously that the next step would be to try the Mirena coil if cerazette didn’t work.

And if so, should I stop taking Cerazette as there is increased risk of ectopic pregnancy?

Can cerazette mental health side effects even happen this quick? Is there an alternative, please help x

I’ve just come off cerazette. I had high hopes for it working, took the headaches at the beginning, the random bleeding and worsened pain but what it’s done to my mental health was the last straw.

Should I ask the GP for Cerazette or should I just start the Zelleta? Thanks for any advice

Hi, i am new on here i just need some advice, I came off the pill (cerazette) after 10 years in early November 2018 I am yet to have a period, I've had a feeling it was coming like cramps, backache and a few mood swings but nothing ever comes.

I was put on Cerazette at the beginning of the year to help with my symptoms, and it stopped my periods completely (which was an absolute dream!) I'm still taking the pill, yet yesterday an unexpected period arrived (heavy and very painful, the same as before I started taking the pill).

I’ve been taking Cerazette for 3 days and I feel even worse, like I’ve taken a sedative or something, mild constant headache and I feel really tearful and angry. Is it possible for Cerazette to affect me that quickly or is it my anxious mind doing it???
