Came off pill, No period, Whats going on

Hi, i am new on here i just need some advice, I came off the pill (cerazette) after 10 years in early November 2018 I am yet to have a period, I've had a feeling it was coming like cramps, backache and a few mood swings but nothing ever comes. The last few weeks i have not felt right in myself i feel nauseated, fatigued, peeing a lot more than usual, irritated, dizzy, i am waking up daily with a headache it's driving me mad, so i decided i should take a pregnancy test. I took the test this morning and it has come back negative i am at a loss, i dont know what to do next?? Any advice would be appreciated

I know that periods can take a while to go back to normal after coming off the pill. Maybe visit your go if you’re concerned though? Xxx

I felt AWFUL when I stopped taking contraception in February, I had a migraine that lasted 5 days, felt exhausted all the time and just unwell in general and random spotting every couple of weeks. At the end of May I had my first proper period and felt much better, then at the end of June I got pregnant (on purpose). It just takes a while for your hormones to settle down, after 10 years you’ve probably accumulated a fair bit in your system. I don’t think how you’re feeling is unusual or anything to worry about, but if you’re concerned speak to your GP. The experience of coming off contraceptives was so unpleasant I’ve vowed never to use hormone based contraception again. Once my baby is born I’m going to opt for the non-hormone coil. Try not to get too down about it, it won’t last forever x

I was on different contraceptives for 10 years when I decided to come off. It took 77days for my first cycle, then another 2 cycles to regulate into a 31day cycle. It's normal especially with cerazette as it's only a mini pill.
