After 16 years I've made it onto the treatment ladder
I'm to start a course of sulfasalazine and I'll be changing my
Celebrex
to a more recent COX-2 inhibitor. I was offered hydrotherapy but said that I felt that it would not be much use... much like taking a car with a broken engine to a car wash...

Not sure whether to have another steroid injection??
I'm still taking
Celebrex
too and didn't manage to stop this even after the injection. My view has been to try and keep the steroid injections for when I really need them. Times like over the summer holidays etc.

Is the MTX working??
I've been taking
Celebrex
during this period. The steroid has taken away the pain and slightly reduced the fatigue but I needed to keep going with the
Celebrex
to keep the fatigue manageable.

I have a huge dilemma about a holiday, and you're the people who would know...
By the way, I'm between medications so am only on
Celebrex
having failed a couple of anti-TNFs and Rituximab.

celebrex?
I was just wondering (and I know it is different stokes for different folks) but is any one on
celebrex
which is a arthritis drug?
celebrex
is the brand name I think its chemical name is something like celexocib or something like that, if so does it help fibro or not?

Joints appear fine upon examination and my CRP is normal yet joint damage is occurring....
I've had RA since 2009 but I didn't start to get any real symptom control until late 2012 when I was put on the combo of injected MTX 20mg and Leflunomide 10mg with
Celebrex
400mg. My jaw, ankles and feet are in bad shape - extensive joint erosions shown on MRI scans.

Worst ever flare & no support from hospital, need advice!
I take 6 500mg tablets of Sulphazadine every day with 2
celebrex
also, this has never been changed throughout the 9yrs. Usually I get the aches or odd days especially in winter time when I struggle, however 10.5 weeks ago a flare up occurred.

Can't say I'm happy with the
Celebrex
. Can't take DMARDS because of my lungs and side effects I have. I know it's not going to cure anything, but I do feel I am doing something to help myself and didn't come out with a load of crap pills. XXX

How long before I know if I need more antibiotics?
I do not feel ill, but am taking
Celebrex
for my arthritis, which can mask a fever, so didn't have a very high temperature even when my chest felt awful. I have mild bronchiectasis as well as the asthma, but normally the gunk is controlled with my daily meds. Any ideas?
