Hillcross thyroxine
I have a note on the chemists file not to dispense Teva thyroxine. I recently got a prescription filled and I have started feeling extremely unwell with headaches, stomach upsets and feeling lightheaded. The only difference has been this change, when I have checked the box the underside of the pill

Source of NDT or T3?
Looking for some advice. Iāve been having hypothyroid symptoms for years, with FT3 at the very bottom end and often below range the few times I got the doctor to test it. Morning oral temp at 35.8-36.0C Only a couple of times did it approach 50% of range and that was using desiccated thyroid supplements

Hi, I have rai booked imminently & want to know for sure if my levels warrant it - TSH - <0.01 T3 - 8 T4 - 16 Iāve been told it was toxic nodules, now 2 years later told by a different consultant itās graves? The consultant secretary said they mean the same thing when overactive? Is this correct?

New Rheumatology Referral - hope it comes through quickly!
Hello folks, Iāve had fairly mild Reynaudās for a long time and have more recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia due to ongoing raised glands, pain & fatigue without infection/ inflammation. This was after seeing a rheumatologist who did a thorough examination, in-depth interview and blood/urine tests

3 months post-partum - advice on these results?
I was diagnosed with hypo right before I found out I was pregnant last August. Levo was awful for me, so I switched to NDT and have done well on it. Throughout pregnancy, my TSH was optimal and T3 was good too but T4 was difficult to get optimal. I'm on 180mcg of NDT, split 90/90 morning and night

T3 medication lowering FT4 - causing worsening of symptoms
When taking T3 medication (plus T4) it drops your FT4. Has anyone found that this drop in FT4 made them feel worse ie feeling more depressed and fatigue/energy even worse (or have you read about this happening to anyone)? Did you have to increase your T4 medication to get your FT4 up higher in the

So, I've written before, and I started taking only T3. At about 100-125mcg per day all at once in the morning (bc my principal concern is my immune system. Also energy, etc). I went to the ER the other day bc of a bad reaction to Paxlovid, I had presumed covid (multiple close contacts, ie, my kids

T4/T3 Combi Overmedicated Help Please
I posted yesterday about my recent feelings of overmedication but didnt get many replies. Its just symptoms, not blood tests, but had palpitations, fatigue, fast heart beat, shortness of breath. Was on 150mcg Levo and 12.5 T3 daily. Also added daily selenium which might have complicated things. Cut
