Orgovyx-- need info/experiences
In the past, Lupron/
Casodex
has successful knocked the snot out of my PSA's. Dr. Lam has suggested that I do Orgovyx next time. I have a video chat with him on the 16th. Barring a pleasant PSA surprise I will need to start it PDQ*!!

Cabergoline/ Dostinex/ Casodex - Prolactin suppression to remain Hormone sensitive
Based on that expectation, cabergoline treatment
Casodex
(dopamine agonist; ) was employed to inhibit the pituitary production of prolactin. Prior to treatment, the patient’s CTC (circulating tumor cell) count=5.4; which is indicative of survival for ~21 months.

Should our RO's be doing HDR for Gleason 9?
And, does the
Casodex
/Lupron + Abiraterone (Zytiga) for 2 yrs + 8 weeks of EBRT sound like "enough" treatment for such an aggressive PCa?? Thanks for your help/guidance, I appreciate it.

Faslodex in oral form
Hello everyone throughout this World I am at present on Faslodex injections and have been for nearly three years. I do remember reading a post about the introduction of Faslodex in oral form being used by someone in the UK and was wondering exactly how many countries have adopted this procedure worldwide

Well, Carboplatin was a disaster - it did nothing at all so I have effectively had 8 weeks of no treatment and my cancer went crazy. I understand that sounds super negative but that's how I feel right now. So, having a scan to prove the cancer spread matches the blood work (for example my CA15 was in

Does Herceptin cause Pulmonary Hypertension
I’m new to this site and have found it to be very helpful. I was diagnosed with MBC in 2015 and was treated mostly with Herceptin and Perjeta which was very successful. However I began to experience shortness of breath and in 2019 was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. A lung specialist

Opinion?
Just started on
Casodex
and will add Lupron, until PSA under control then add (switch to?) Zytiga and radiation to clean up prostate and bone. Second meeting with Onc in a few weeks Is this too cautious?.

Wondering about meds for high cholesterol
Hi fellow warriors, I have been on Letrozole and Ibrance for the last 2 years. I was diagnosed stage 4 de novo in late 2014. Mets were in liver only. I did Taxol, Herceptin and Perjeta for about 4 months, then Herceptin , Perjeta and Faslodex until 2019. I then was able to do just the Faslodex until

intermittent anti androgen monotheray and bipolar androgen therapy
casodex
mono therapy raised T to 1000 and going off cycle exposing naked pc to high T would be a mild form of BAT. MAYBE EVEN MORE WITH NEW AA. Has anyone thought of this interesting possibility. I have done this once for a 2-3yr period of 23 yrs of HT

Confused on next step
Have done GREAT using
Casodex
2 weeks then Lupron +
Casodex
(50 mg/day), usually 9-12 months. Numerous HT vacations. 3 times scans found a very few ext. lymph node hot spots. Each time did a 3-month Lupron shot +
Casodex
+ SBRT one month after starting Lupron. OK, fast forward to now. PSA rising.
