I found taking it at night (when I took most of my heart meds) was convenient and it had no effect on my sleep cycle.

If you are taking it for a short period (about a month) to prevent a flare from Lupron, I don’t think it matters much, other than for consistency i.e. always morning or always at night.

I was taking it to help against the Lupron flare. my radiation oncologist recommended taking all three 50 mg pills in the morning.

Go with that advice then, I just did what was convenient for me.

Don't take it at face value, as it is not rare at all docs speaking for matters having no clue about, but when asked, mine told me to take Bicalutamide with food. Out of pure convenience I followed her advice and take it with lunch at noon. But, I must be an exceptional responder to Bicalutamide as my current dose is in the realm of traces compared to above mentioned 150 mg/day.

was diagnosed June 2018, GL 4+3, PSA 17. Started bical. 50mg, tamsulosin .4mg, finasteride 5mg. Within weeks, PSA undetectable, stayed that way for 4+ yrs. Great stuff, is SOC in most of Europe. Still have my gland, poor erections but still have orgasms, 75 yrs old, above ground and vertical. Can't complain, life is good.

I don't have much to say. Started Lupron every 3 months starting April 2020, few issues: some additional fatigue, and had to massively up my thyroid medication (from about 100 to 375 mcg). It might be affecting my glucose too, not sure (but the glucose isn't that high). Best wishes.

I tried taking one 50mg tab at various times to find what suited me best. I settled for taking it in the late afternoon around 4pm. The reason is because it initially makes me drowsy so I take a nap. Also, I find it it best taken on an empty stomach, which allows me to finish my dinner some 2-3 hours later. All the best, DD 😎.
