Tissue Mitral Valve Replacement 1yr on - and coming OFF meds to use Alternative Integrated Supplements...increase pulse & can't gain weight!
I'm following the advice of my integrated medicine doctor, which is a Paleo-Ketogenic (PK) diet, who in turn bases her treatment on Dr Stephen Sinatra, who has a 95% success rate in raising ejection fraction using what he calls 'the awesome foursome': CoQ10 Ubiquinol, L-
carnitine
, D-ribose and magnesium

This is working for us! Want to help someone else if this story looks similar to your child or teen
He takes a
carnitine
supplement for low
carnitine
and supplements to correct low glutathione. So, we still have a lot of work to do with antioxidants and balancing amino acids. He had sensory issues very early in life and in turn we battle over his desire for a refined diet.

Update and Resource: Heart Calm supplement
I may add in some of the other recommended micronutrients, such as L-
Carnitine
and D-Ribose, but one at a time, after I feel like my Heart Calm dosage is stabilized. It's been about a month so far of experimenting and tracking.

Problems with Supplements
I'll start with one that many PWP take, and I used to take:
Carnitine
.
Carnitine
is used by our bodies in many helpful ways, so why not take more of it? We produce
Carnitine
, so there's no known requirement to take in more. But what's the problem if we do?

Some useful info on this site, in particular, take note of the info that caffeine seems neuroprotective, also the bit about Acetyl L
Carnitine
helping the myalin sheath around the nerve. https://www.intechopen.com/books/a-synopsis-of-parkinson-s-disease/melatonin-in-parkinson-s-disease
