Mail outreach doubles HCC screening in safety-net hospital
The need for more intensive interventions are higher than ever according to the results of a study to see what outreach strategies increased screening rates for hepatocellular
carcinoma
(HCC). Despite the effectiveness of mailing invitations, screening rates were still lower than desired.

New journey. Feeling overwhelmed.
I was diagnosed with invasive ductal
carcinoma
in October. I have had 2 partial mastectomys. Unfortunately pathology came back on both with positive margin. My specialist said that it is now recommended that I have a full mastectomy.

I was fobbed off with having IBS now diagnosed with 3C high grade serous
carcinoma
.. I'd never heard of OC until my diagnosis and now I'm an expert telling all my family, friends, ladies I chat with when shopping... I just don't want any female to go through what I've experienced.. Love Michelle x

The waiting is driving me crazy
In the days following we did a broncoscopy that revealed it was small cell
carcinoma
. Went to oncologist wed and he said it was extensive stage. We are going mon to do a head ct to find out if I have anything in my brain. All the waiting just seems like a waste of precious time .

Cancer is Lonely
I will soon be having cancer surgery for an invasive ductal
carcinoma
. It's been a bit of a challange getting to a surgery date and on deciding on a surgeon and course of treatment. Also making sure other findings (lung mass) is not spread of cancer or a prmary lung mass.

Newly diagnosed
I have recently undergone a lung biopsy and VATS Procedure to rule out any
carcinoma
of the lung as my lungs have widespread nodularity. They have now confirmed it is sarcoid and not cancer so hugely relieved at this. It has been a long 6 months to get a diagnosis with many scans and procedures.
