Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Modified Citrus Pectin
A 1999 paper [3] undermined the idea of galectin-3 as a useful target: "... galectin-3 expression was significantly decreased in primary
carcinoma
and metastatic disease compared with normal and premalignant tissue." & a different team had the same message the following year [4]: "We furthered our studies

Terrified
He thoroughly removed every trace he could find and declared me free of metastatic
carcinoma
, which he graded at stage III-B. There were, however cancer cells in the pelvic washings, which I just know are going to grab hold somewhere and start growing.

Having difficulty waiting
I had 2/3 of my left lung removed in June 2015 for adenocarcinoma. 3 months prior to that I had a lumpectomy of the right breast for invasive ductal
carcinoma
. The recovery was long and difficult. I now have a small growth in what's left of my left lung.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Estrogen [2] - Discovery of ERbeta.
The number of ERbeta-positive cases declined to 24.2% (38/157) in hyperplasia adjacent to
carcinoma
and 11.3% (18/159) in PCs." Note that it was already known that ERalpha was confined to stromal cells in normal prostates.

Questions about clear cell carcinoma
They said clear-cell
carcinoma
is rare and when it reoccurs it is very aggressive. Is there anyone that knows anything about the reoccurrence rate? I'm praying and believing that won't but am curious as to know more about this to inform others.

It's back... ugh...I'm in the 6%
The biopsy revealed invasive mammory
carcinoma
in left breast. It is 9 mm in size and it is a malignant tumor. How can this be? I did everything I was told to do! I did the lumpectomy & radiation and I asked in 2003... should I have a mastectomy.... all my docs said "not recommended".

I am new here.
It has been 2 years and a few months since I lost the upper lobe of my left lung to
carcinoma
. 6 months after that surgery I ended up in Brigham and Women's Hosp in Boston to have another surgery in the same place to repair the problems made by the first surgery.
