PSA rise
2 months ago my PSA was 20. I have had extensive screening done prior to starting a clinical trial on Tuesday. My PSA has gone up to 367 since then. CT scan showed no significant change and I had bone scan yesterday. Onco says it may just be increased activity of existing cancer cells and not necessarily

Optilume, scans, and tests
I found an old post on this "Balloon" based BPH treatment but no replies. I had a cystoscopy today as part of my decision making process for BPH treatment first or Gleason 7 (4+3) treatment first. My urologist gave me a brochure for a procedure he does called Optilume from a company called Laborie.

Positive Margins -- Will I need additional treatment?
3 months post RALP and PSA is undetectable by standard test. My surgical pathology results are pasted below. Do you think I will need additional treatment? I have not spoken to my urologist yet, since the PSA results just came in. Whatever he says, I may consider getting a 2nd opinion from Johns

Clinical trials?
At the oncology appointment yesterday my husband was given what I believe is an amazing opportunity, he has the option of starting standard care ( immunotherapy pembrolizumab ) or participating in clinical trials where they will be also adding a second drug for a two pronged approach. Whilst I know

fast-rising PSA
I’m in the control group for the new Lutetium-177–PSMA-617 study re: use of Lutetium in the early stages of treatment for metastatic disease, pre-chemo. I was diagnosed 3/23 - high volume/high risk, and have been on Firmagon and Abiraterone plus pred. In Sept my PSA started to rise, with testosterone

Zytiga issue solved…
A big thank you to all who weighed in on whether I should take a lesser dose of abiraterone with food or just go without for a few days…….when I called my insurance company and got to talk to someone who gave a hoot it was discovered that a new pre-Auth was NOT needed…….10 or more phone calls later

treatment without surgery
hi, I’m new on here. First sorry to read and see what you are all going through, you are all very strong and brave. It’s my mum that has ovarian cancer stage 4, had 6 rounds of chemo then surgery - however the surgeon couldn’t operate as there was too much cancer to remove. My question is, has anyone
