Cimzia concerns
I have been on Cimzia five weeks and it is my first biologic. I was told it will probably take twelve weeks before I will know if it's going to work or not. I can handle the twelve week wait but I'm having some symptoms that are very concerning. I'm just five weeks in but now I'm having horrible pain

Biologics!
Started my cimzia treatment last night, I was dreading it as I'm no good with side effects! But I really hope it works, I'm fed up of feeling rubbish....still on the highest dose of MTX until the cimzia kicks in then that will thankfully reduce. Is anyone else on biologicals and how are they working

Self help for elbow?
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has been given a new elbow joint and is happy with the results. A few years ago the consultant said mine would need replacing when either the pain was unbearable or my movement very limited. Some days both are the case and I'm being referred again. I would rather try to improve

Can't win
Hello everyone. Just a short message to ask if this happens to anyone else or is it all in my mind. I'm on a right mix of meds. Methotrexate cimzia sulforsalazine and tramadol to name a few. The thing is I'm now or so I'm told by my wife the most grumpy person she knows. Pain free and grumpy. So I stopped

Hi. Has anyone had problems with recurring episcleritis ? I've had 5 lots of steroid drops this year - all prescribed by Moorfields. As the last lot finished the redness swapped to the other side of my eye and became very painful. Moorfields again, and this time anti inflammatories prescribed then I

Chopsticks and RA
Its a bit too early to post on the impact of Cimzia, but I was well enough to go out for my grandson's birthday at Chinese dumpling place. So - some progress. However I did experience quite a bit of difficulty using my chopsticks. Right hand is still quite inflamed and weakened by these 10 months of

Season of colds
I've just had my first dose of cimzia this week and I felt a lot better, though it's wearing off now. Everyone around me is spluttering and sneezing and I'm afraid I'm going to catch their colds. Pd off about it. Do those of you who regularly take cimzia stop it if you've a cold? It's like getting a

leflunomide
I have RA and tried plaquenil methotrexate and cimzia. The only drug that worked was cimzia but I had horrific side effects. My rheumy started me on leflunomide. Has it worked for anyone on here and does hair loss seem to be a side effect?
