Twitching
G'day folks. I was diagnosed with FND a week ago and I've been reading about people having seizures. I don't have seizures, I just twitch from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep. When I say twitch I I've heard butted my knee when I'm sitting down. I'm on baclofen and valium 3 time's a day

So far I've taken Losinipril, Perindropil, Propranolol, then moved to another type Doxazosin, a
calcium
channel blocker All of them have aggravated restless legs, to such an extent that I haven't slept for weeks, other than dropping off with exhaustion for a few minutes.

Night Terrors Anyone?
I have been experiencing night terrors for many years now, varying in intensity. They usually manifest early on after going to sleep. CBT doesn't help, but Valium does (which I seldom take). I have learned to ignore the weak ones with a bit of screaming. Sometimes I don't even notice them, but they scare

I’ve never had my
calcium
tested (at least not in the recent set of bloods) so I’m confused as to how this could be the diagnosis. Thank you again all.

should you take supplements at the same time as the Pred dose?
I recently read not to take
calcium
supplements at the same time as my morning pred dose, are there any other wisdoms about taking Vit D, potassium etc at the same time as pred ? or is it better to not take anything else at the same time? thanks

Vitamin D Status & Cancer Mortality
The strategy for making circulating 1,25-D (from kidney production) more available to PCa cells is: i) avoid excess
calcium
intake. The kidneys will not convert 25-D to 1,25-D if they are ditching
calcium
.

I’m thinking of stuff like lipids,
calcium
, Liver, kidney etc etc. I would like to be PRO active not reactive - especially as in the U.K. the system isn’t good at preventative pro active monitoring, I need to do it.

Staying on 5mg indefinitely.....
Forgive me if I've brought this up before but after my rheumatologist advised me that there are little or no side effects when on 7.5mg prednisolone providing one takes the right precautions -
Calcium
, Vit D supplements and healthy eating habits e.g. low or no sugar, low or no carbs, etc.

I get my
