Vitamin K2
I keep seeing posts about vitamin K2 being good for ensuring
calcium
goes to the bones. I also have read it had blood clotting capabilities . I am on rivoroxiban to prevent blood clots . . I am assuming this would mean I cannot take K2 as it would be counter productive.

New Medicines Atorvastatin and Propranaolol Bone Worries
I do not take calicum tablets as I have a large kidney stone lurking in my lower kidney so get all of my
calcium
from dairy as I cannot get it front plant based due to oxolates, it is a mine field! I take vitamin D3 2000mg a day, plus a K2 complex which includes Vit K, Vit K2 and VitD3 400 mg.

Suffering since 4 years and now pains are increasing.
Hi All, I would like you guys to know that around 4 years back I wrote a post here regarding my b12 + D3 +
Calcium
deficiency. History: I used to have burning in thighs, severe feet pain and was not able to stand merely for 5 mins then.

Blood calcium level testing?
No-one has so much as mentioned blood
calcium
levels and I can’t find any evidence of that being done in my monthly blood tests. Do any of us have blood
calcium
levels tested routinely? The leaflet with the Ca supplement I take suggests it ought to be done.

Apixaban & Vitamin K2
Dr John Campbell recently suggested that it's a good idea to take vit K2 with vit D3 as it helps route
calcium
to the bones rather than tissue. https://www.grassrootshealth.net/blog/need-take-vitamin-k2-vitamin-d/ Does anyone know if taking vit K2 with apixaban is a problem?

CT Scan
I recently had a ct scan but I’ve now received a letter saying that because there was a lot of
calcium
they could not get clear images. I now need a myocardial perfusion scan. I don’t understand. Is this a sign I may have serious problems.

Excessive intake of
calcium
, multivitamin and vitamin E increased the Pca risk. The 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors( 5ARIs)are widely used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)by biological function of inhibiting the conversion from testosterone to dihydrotestosterone.

Feel sick after taking vitamin D3 plus k2
I read combining d3 and k2 together means my body can absorb
calcium
instead of building it up hence why I went for that one.. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Omeprazole again!
It can't be very equally spaced because of the issue of not getting too near the pred, or
calcium
. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks for reading this.

Vitamin K2 Mk7
I have just ordered this as I have learned from this site that I should be taking this with AdCal to help the absorption of the
calcium
into my bones. The vitamin k is once a day so should i take it with the mid morning AdCal or evening one ? Thanks very much. Currently tapering 4.0/3.5 mg.

Vitamin D and Neurological Diseases
Classically, vitamin D has a recognized role in the regulation of bone health and
calcium
-phosphorus homeostasis, by acting at the level of the skeletal bone, intestine and kidney.

Thyroid and Amlodipine
I know it is a
calcium
channel blocker, which may help my Raynaud's apparently, and I am sure I read somewhere that I may have to up my dose slightly. Blood tests from last week:- TSH 0.04 (0.27-4.20) T4 14.3 (11.00-25) T3 5.6 (3.10-6.60) Yes, they tested the T3!

Supplements whilst on Preds
Calcium
, Vitamin D etc, the best versions and timings of taking them as I am getting very confused about what is the best to take I’ve added D3 and a
calcium
supplement which I take with breakfast, about 2 hours after the Preds, but I have a suspicion they may not be the right versions.

CKD minerals and labs?
Sodium
calcium
etc? Asking because my dad has consistently high potassium and low sodium. But right now he’s having mild edema on his legs. Our nephro keeps saying he is dehydrated and has given his en electrolyte drink to take 3x a day, but we have reduced it to 1/day due to the edema.
