Hello everyone! I put a post up here not long ago and received so, so many wonderful, kindhearted replies that I haven't had the chance to respond to because I am very tired. From the bottom of my heart, you have my sincerest apologies and I will reply as soon as I can, I promise. Words are not nearly

A Thyroid Mess
I have posted on here recently concerning my erratic behavior, con-cerning my dosing and (re)dosing the same doses of thyroid medications over the past year or so. I was so mixed up and stymied over my thyroid situation that I just sensed a crisis of unknown proportions that I would never figure out

Wiggly and wobbly legs from iron deficiency?
Anyone feel the RLS in their legs and everything, and then when you try to get up and move around you just feel too weak to keep standing? These past 2 days have been bad. I don’t know how to stop the restlessness. I was drifting in and out of sleep at around 11:30 PM, and every time I woke up I’d

feeling hopeless and anxious
i know i’ve been posting a lot and i’m sorry for that, but i’m just so depressed and anxious. the RLS has gotten worse in the last 2 weeks and all i have is gabapentin, valium, and some supplements. the soonest i can see a new neurologist is February, which is better than my original appointment in March

Happy Holidays
Could anyone tell me why some people do better than others? Are there many strains out there of PCa? I haven't had a PSA in like 3 months but I've had a .04 last time. I was diagnosed in mid 2012 and it's been lupron and Xtandi. I'm at NIH in a clinical trial but others I've known there have died. When

HEART FAILURE
I would like some advice - I had open heart surgery in June of 2018 with bypass surgery. Since Wednesday, I have been diagnosed as in heart failure due to a calcium build up in a vessel close to the heart causing a lack of BP to my lower torso, and in the first instance causing swollen ankles. Should

Calcium and magnesium shouldn’t be taken at the same time as thyroid meds?
I happened to come across a post that said you should not take calcium and magnesium at the same time as your thyroid meds and secondly calcium and magnesium should not be taken together. I used the search box to look for more info but couldn’t find much. So can I ask are both points correct and what

Second DEXA Scan Results
In 2018 I had a DEXA scan which showed osteopaenia. NOF was -2, total hip -1.3 and spine -1.9. A few weeks after that scan which, fortunately was done on my left side, I broke my right NOF running a marathon (no fall, classed as a high impact event) and joined this forum. I did leave hospital with

T3 and calcium supplements?
Added T3 two weeks ago and now I’m increasing my cytomel ( T3) from 1x0,25 mg to 2x0,25. The question is when to take the second dose with all my supplements. Have hypocalcemia since my TT 6 years ago so I have to take it. Here is my schedule: 6 am- levithyroxine 100/75 mcg + 0,25 cytomel 10 am magnesium
