Help with test results
Hi I wonder if anyone could offer some advice on my recent blood test results. Doctors have said retest in 1 year?! My background: I have hashimoto's - diagnosed 3 years ago but probably had for 20 years! About 1 month ago I had the flu, self diagnosed but it felt like flu. Since then I have been exhausted

Vitamin D and increased blood calcium levels?
Hi all I have been on Vitamin D3 1000iu for over a year to address a deficiency. Levels are now fine, but I still keep worrying about the fact people claim it can raise blood calcuim levels :( Obviously calcium in the arteries is a major health risk, so need I worry? Can I check it?

I am 71. Three years ago I started taking Atorvastatin as a precautionary measure, I'm assuming they are doing me some good. I broke my wrist Nov 11th 2016 and was sent for a dexascan. Results showed the onset of osteoporosis so I was prescribed a weekly Alendronic Acid tablet and Adcal-D3, to be taken

My quality of life has been on a rapid decline.. hoping someone can help.
I am 27 years old, a year ago happy and healthy until after a bike ride, the day after I had trouble breathing. . Detailed in a previous advice post. Any ideas if the eye symptoms and feeling awful run down could be auto immune related? Or just a coincidence? I'm always worrying about her. She won't see GP or ask to see endo as it's always no use no diagnosis they contractict things.

Osteopenia
Anyone else diagnosed with PBC and osteopenia? What are you taking? I saw somewhere that it was important to include Vitamin K2 in addition to calcium and Vitamin D3 to direct them to the bones and not your arteries. I asked the question and my liver doctor who recommended the bone density scan is checking

Vitamin D3 quick question
@greygoose @seasidesusie and others I was taking a D3 (1000 iu X2) daily until recently. I recently found a very similar in size D3 which was 2000 iu; and was much cheaper from a good shop. I bought it thinking it's not only cheaper but also that I will need to take only 1. Just noticed on the bottle

What I’m eating today...
So far, I’ve had 1 1/2 pots of green tea with lemon, two glasses of kefir, two espressos ~ 1 decaf, & a small dish of oats soaked in kefir (grains first, pulses later for combining amino acids), plus a vitamin D3 supplement Lunch is going to be lentil, squash, chilli & cavolo soup with nutritional yeast

Overdosed on NDT without realising. Feel horrendous.
I'm posting here again because I am really, really struggling. I have just had the worst week I've had health wise in nearly 2 years. It would seem that I have been massively overdosing my Efra Thyroid. I upped my dosage following my discussion my Holistic Doctor at the start of October to 1 x 60mg

Medical help so far useless
I was recently diagnosed with a spinal fracture. GP referred me to a private consultant - a rheumatologist based at The Physician's Clinic, as she didn't think that on the NHS I'd be seen quickly enough. I had both an MRI scan, and a DXA - results didn't arrive for over four weeks, and when they did,
