Would be grateful for your thoughts on my blood results before endo apt please, still feeling exhausted and weak. Thank you
Hello, I’ve had an underactive thyroid for 8 years after having my first child, looks like Hashimotos. Currently taking 100mcg levothyroxine and 15mcg liothyronine (10mcg on waking and 5 around 3pm). Also on HRT patches as am mid 40s and perimenopausal. I’m gluten free, have had SIBO in the past.

The amazing Kidney
I’m a senior citizen with stage 3B chronic kidney disease. My kidneys were damaged when I was eight years old. Unlike most with CKD, I am not diabetic. It seems that a plant based low protein diet is the only known way to maintain what’s left of my kidney function so I’m always looking for diet information

Could Vitamin C be beneficial?
Feedback please on other’s experience of Vit C to help reduce AFib burden. I have been on dronedarone now for two years and as reported last year it’s been a game changer for me. Here’s my previous post which is still valid. https://healthunlocked.com/afassociation/posts/148149333/dronedarone-10-month-update

Omg not good appointment
I had a follow up appointment today with Endrocolgy which they requested saw them last Oct. The dr was not that nice made me feel I wasted his time especially when I asked about my private cortisol test. He said these tests are dangerous and he is seeing to many people doing them. He said my Thyroid

alpha-lipoic acid
hi all, can you take alpha-lipoic acid at anytime of the day away from thyroid meds? I’ve got burning mouth syndrome/metallic taste in my mouth and read the above can help (with vitamin c and L Lysine) but it can interfere with thyroid meds? Many thanks 🙏🏼

Lethal strategy: use of i) Doxycycline (Hit-1: targeting mitochondria) and ii) Vitamin C (Hit-2: targeting glycolysis) to eradicate CSCs
In summary, we propose the combined use of i) Doxycycline (Hit-1: targeting mitochondria) and ii) Vitamin C (Hit-2: targeting glycolysis), which represents a new synthetic-lethal metabolic strategy for eradicating CSCs. This type of metabolic Achilles’ heel will allow us and others to more effectively

Proton Therapy timeline question
For those who have had proton therapy, what was your timeline? What period of time elapsed after you began ADT and had the simulation? And then, how long after that did the actual therapy begin? I've been reading and can't seem to determine a timeline, other than one guy wrote that he had the simulation

avocado - anyone else ?
Hi and happy summer solstice, I’ve recently been trying to improve my diet and read that avocado has many good features, such as high fiber, good fat, vitamin c, b vitamins, folate, vitamin k, and something about it helps the body produce glutathione (an antioxidant which helps protect the liver.)

Post double ankle sprain rehab
Hi all, I managed to sprain both ankles, falling off a high curb, but at the beginning of a 450km cycle tour. Although I could not walk well, I could cycle with discomfort only under exertion. Given that I had was committed to the tour, I continued with pain-killers, an ankle support for the most affected

covid recovery
hi all, Hubby had cold symptoms last week and tested positive, I felt ok at the time but had a faint line. Roll on 6 days I’ve had the all over aches, hot and cold sweats, pain in my throat, unbelievable sneezing and runny nose, a bit of a cough but not much. Most of that has gone except for that familiar
