Buprenorphine patch and swimming
Dear Everyone, About 3 months ago, I started withdrawing from Neupro with the help of Buprenorphine. Buprenorphine is only available as a patch in Brasil where I live. I am now free of any dopamine agonist for over 2 months and continue to use Buprenorphine to effectively control my RLS. The quality

My Gabapentin Dilemma
Help! I need some advice regarding my Gabapentin treatments. This is my first post so I hope I don’t ramble too much. I’m over 70 years old with RLS for over 30-40 years. Fortunately I don’t have RLS attacks during the day but have them almost every night after I fall asleep. On high doses of Gabapentin

Buprenorphine @ 2 weeks, issues
Hi, I've been on buprenorphine (suboxone 2.0mg as i'm in USA) for little more than 2 weeks. This is after augmenting on pramipexole, getting off that last year, and having some moderate but transient response to IV Iron 5 mos ago that has mostly gone away (despite my ferritin levels still being 300)

update from Ruffabug (End of life plan)
A big thank you to those who kindly replied to my post of a couple weeks ago entitled HELP PLEASE TO REDUCE DOSE OF NEUPRO .To remind you I have terminal cancer with roughly six to nine months life expectancy. After reading your replies I decided not to try to reduce the Dopamine Agonist Receptor drugs

I am a little lost in my tapering regime
I am reading some posts
and
now wondering if maybe I should be using the
buprenorphine
/
naloxone
to continue the tapering off pramipexole. Do I keep taking the gabapentin (it does cause brain fog and dizziness in the mornings mostly),?

Tapentadol
Has anybody else tried Tapentadol for RLS ? Despite having , at last , persuaded the Pain Clinic Consultant to give me a month's trial for Buprenorphine tablet's, they are , still, considering giving me Tapentadol! I would be grateful for any input. Also, are there any problems to look out for changing

dipyridamole
I’m going to try this next week when I get an Rx. Looking for any pointers from anyone who has had success with it. I gather that 225mg is a common dose for RLS (three 75mg pills). I intend to start with one pill and titrate up to three quickly if there are no issues. I’m currently using buprenorphine

Help - kindling?
As described in my other posts, my dopamine agonist withdrawal is awful. I suffer from DAWS, and I've done several stays in an hospital neurology service, and they are doing their best to help me, but something is awfully wrong. I got out of the hospital the day after yesterday. Yesterday, I had a

Refused Buprenorphine tablet's.
I thought that I would leave you all in peace for a while but I had a terrible day yesterday with the Buprenorphine patch itching my skin and then, last, night the RLS came back full force and I haven't slept. It was the 5th day of the patch so I assume it had worn off. I have a new patch today and feeling

Buprenorphine and TMS
I have been taking Buprenorphine. 5mg for about 3 months with good control about 30 minutes after taking it. I usually take it at 10. I’ll start getting some RLS symptom around 8 if I am not moving around. I don’t want to take the Bup warlier because it knocks me out and I have thing I need to do before

Hello everyone, Last May I flew to Chicago with gabapentin & low dose oxycodone in my hand luggage with prescription attached with no problems. In 2 weeks I will be flying to Phoenix, Arizona & now am on low dose buprenorphine instead of oxycodone. Has anyone had problems flying to the US carrying low

Any last advice before I embark on the battle to try Buprenorphine? Should I increase my pregabalin dose?
I'd be really grateful for any thoughts on remaining treatment options before I start waging war with my GP practice to try Buprenorphine. I took my last ropinirole tablet in May 2023 (after augmentation after 11 years), and have since been taking 300mg pregabalin (150mg at 8pm, 150mg at 10.30pm), together

Stabilising buprenorphine dose
After months escaping from DA augmentation and with the help & support of many in this community I reached a period in late 2023 when I started on buprenorphine patches. My GP did a calculation (?) which indicated I needed a weekly 10mcg/hr patch and this is the level i initially used. The GP told

Buprenorphine...help with prescription please!!
Since my neurologist retired and I found a new one, my pharmacy is not accepting his order for the buprenorphine because he's saying it's for RLS and the pharmacy is saying something about it is for pain but since this new neurologist isn't a pain doctor, he said he can't prescribe it that way even though

Pregabalin, Buprenorphine question
Hi all, As many of you know I am on a 20 mg patch of Buprenorphine. I also taking 150 mg of Pregabalin nightly. Is there any reason to continue with the Pregabalin as long as I take the Buprenorphine? Does the Buprenorphine cancel out the need for the Pregabalin? The Pregabalin is not causing me any

gabapentin with buprenorphine
I’ve been off Pramipexole and on buprenorphine for 3 1/2 months. I’d like to try gabapentin again to see if I can wean off the buprenorphine (RLS has been good but the side effects are a minor hassle). I see from prior comments that it generally takes 3 weeks for gabapentin to take effect, and the
