Update and question about verapamil
Quick update.....stopped flecainide and reduced verapamil. Feeling good and no afib, no SVT. Surprisingly blood pressure which was always good dropped (now 107/68), but Verapamil is meant to lower blood pressure. go figure. Only change I have made recently other than meds is use of taurine (close to

Beginning The Journey
Hi, I was diagnosed in April this year. I had severe back pain and a scan showed multiple spots on my spine. Quite a shock since I had never had cancer before and never missed a mammogram. In fact the breast cancer never showed on the scan. The diagnosis was made with a lymph node biopsy. I’m now

Ibrance vs. Letrezol
Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone had a great time with family and friends. Does anyone take ibrance only without letrezol? I ask because the letrezol has caused me to gain a lot of weight. I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago I thought since I had that I would not need the letrezol anymore. Please

Increased pain after pudendal nerve block.
As a last resort I had a pudendal nerve block in my left buttock 17 days ago. The pain in the injection site is almost unbearable. I hoped this would turn my life around but it has just done the opposite. I am desperate for some pain relief tried all the neuropathic pain tablets but they didn’t

Liver radiation
Good morning awesome people Because my liver has grown a bit, my brain automatically goes into thinking overdrive, sometimes fear generated thoughts. Has anybody had their liver grow and Dr did a radiation process to shrink the tumor? Was it successful. Mine at discovery was 4 cm and is has grown since

To introduce myself. I’m 50 years old and only got diagnosed in May this year. Having my overdue mammogram, I went from zero to being told I have stage four metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my ribs, breast bone, shoulder blades, spine, skull and pelvis. The good news is that it’s just in my

Health Anxiety - It will create physical symptoms!!!
I had developed a right

. Basically it’s an “electrical block” or short circuit in the lower right chamber of my heart. Some people just develop them for no reason and they may come and go. Usually with no symptoms or treatment needed.

Ibrance weeks off
Hi everyone , Hoping your all ok and looking forward to the next few weeks wherever you live on the world 🌍 Can I ask if any of you girls have any withdrawal symptoms when you have you ibrance break for a week or two . I’ve recently been given 2 weeks off instead of one after being on it for 12 months

Medicare part D
I have to go on Medicare part D since I was switched to Ibrance from faslodex. Apparently Medicare does not pay for cancer treatments in pill form . My question is which part d do you use. I have straight Medicare, so don't want to go with an HMO or Advantage plan.

Thank you for being here for me!
I’m still trying to wrap my head around my current situation, so please forgive me if I’ll repeat what was discussed in my previous posts. Just to reiterate: in September my 6-month PET scan showed stable disease. 10 days later, the routine spine MRI indicated new spinal cord edema from T3-T4 to T9

Getting off Verapamil
After 2nd ablation for SVT, I had AFib episodes. Cardiologist said I could take Verapamil and if this did not stop Afib, could add Flecainide. I was told for the SVT ablation blanking period 1 week. I concluded 3 months more appropriate and decided to take 180 mg Verapamil sustained release once/day

So happy I’m able to enjoy putting my tree etc up for Christmas. Could not wait.
Last year I was diagnosed with MBC Nov 2020. Did not understand much about the disease at the time and when I put my tree away was a bit sad. So this year ( as usual it’s all happening early 1st Nov) and I am so grateful and happy I’ve sung Christmas Carols all day lol. Hope you like the pictures. Im

Tachycardia and PACS 14 months post ablation.
Hi, I have had a good run of 14 months post-ablation for PAF, now I am starting to have frequent bouts of tachycardia and PACS, my EP has told me to take 2.5mg nebivolol and 150mg flecainide when necessary, (he is not aware of recent frequency) as these are becoming more frequent I am wondering if I

Tumor markers rising
My tumor marker has went up to 146 from 72 in July .the onc in Houston told me I have to start other meds because they saw progression and he says it’s not working anymore. I currently tak Ibrance and letrozole sinc nov 2018. My question is how much does your onc place importance on your markers.?

London NHS recommendations for treating arrhythmias
I have just moved to London & have ongoing heart arrhythmias that I’d like medical advice on. I wondered I’d anyone could kindly give me advice on the best NHS centre to be referred to in London? I was diagnosed with paroxysmal long RP atrial tachycardia in 2019 and I’m now 53 years old. I am currently
