Acute bronchitis.
Further to my last post on blood oxygen level.I said I had copd, with emphysema, chronic bronchitis and asthma. There was confusion about I had chronic bronchitis but have never had mucus that is associated with it. In fact I have acute bronchitis, so that's probably the reason I didn't have mucus.

Wheezing after viral bronchitis
I had a bad attack of viral bronchitis last April and was hospitalised. After diagnosed and treated I was sent home with steroids and a blue inhaler. I recovered after 2 weeks and thought that was it. However I keep having repeated milder episodes every 2 or three weeks ever since. The wheezing is

Chronic Bronchitis
Hello, quick question. To be diagnosed with chronic bronchitis I constantly see that 1 of the criterias are: "Cough with mucus production for 3 month for 2 consecutive years". I don't get the 3 month part and was wondering if any of you good people could shed some light? Does this mean you have to

Acute Bronchitis advise
I have bad asthma and 95% of the time my regular colds turn into bronchitis. With wearing masks I have not had a cold or bronchitis for 2.5+ years. I am now on day 9 of bronchitis and was wondering if anyone can tell me how long the wheezing and lungs full of phlegm usually last with bronchitis? When

Bronchitis
Morning all, Well after a week of laryngitis followed by pleurisy....week 3 I now have bronchitis!! I'm just finishing a course of antibiotics and pretty sure this is viral but unpleasant. What is your advice for treating this effectively? This is my second bout of bronchitis in the last 4-6 months.

Costochondritis and bronchitis
I get bronchitis every year when it gets cold out. I have a cough that persists for weeks at a time and I also have a mild to moderate form of asthma. I have been coughing a lot and my chest is burning. I also have costochondritis. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I use voltaren gel for the costochondritis

Hi all, I've only had COPD for a year. Just wondering how many have constant bronchitis and cough up phlegm. Is this a normal part of COPD? thanks

Bronchitis
As well as having Fibro, I'm trying to get over a bout of bronchitis. Waiting for a call back from duty doctor as first week of antibiotics haven't touched it. In so much pain, think I have strained every muscle in my torso 😢

Has this happened to You?
Some years ago, approx' eight, I went for a chest x-ray at Leeds General Infirmary, and was asked if I did any type of sports as my x-ray showed I had distended lungs; I reckon what gave my reply away was the the little smirk on my face which proclaimed - "Are you joking!" Any type of sports activity

Bronchitol
Bronchitol
has been extensively trialled in the UK and I was on the bronchiectasis trial at the Brompton & am now getting it on compassionate grounds. It's amazing! I haven't had a single chest infection in the 2 yrs I've been on it, and my FEV1 has increased from 66% to 80%.
