Midlands Health and Wellbeing Day - Saturday 25 November

Hello everyone,

Ovacome will be hosting a free Health and Wellbeing Day in Dudley for anyone who has been affected by ovarian cancer. Join us on Saturday 25 November from 10am to 4pm at the Village Hotel, Dudley.

The day will provide an opportunity to meet others who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in person and learn from experts about looking after your health and wellbeing, both during and after treatment. Partners and family members are also welcome to attend.

This will be a full day event with a programme of talks and workshops. You are welcome to join us for as much of the day as you like. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, So please do let us know if you have dietary requirements.

Workshops will include:

• Diet and nutrition, led by Macmillan dietician

• Look Good Feel Better workshop

• Gentle exercise and relaxation

• Wellbeing and self-care

Thank you for the invitation. Sadly I am already booked up that weekend, although as my chemotherapy has been deferred, I may not be able to get away anyway. Frustrating but necessary!🙂
