I am really hoping that it will be successful and that when i return in 3 months time i will be walking unaided

Have been to see the chest consultant with my Dad .
He asked lots of questions and listened to my dads chest for what seemed like ages.He collected a sputum sample, but said he does not think my dad has a chest infection and he does not think the antibiotics or steroids will help .That what he is experiencing is his natural copd progression. He sent him

my husband has continual breathing difficulties. Has anyone any advice on what treatments help, especially with the agitation and distress.
We already use Carbocystene, Salbutamol and saline nebules in the nebuliser and Oxazipine tablets when the distress gets really bad.

I'm confused & a little scared!
Hi all, as you know my Mum is now home but it's not been easy. She now has her bed downstairs as it's too much for her to use the stairs & she got really worried she would end up pulling my Dad down with her as the other day her leg gave out whilst coming downstairs. She had a bad day yesterday, needed

Angel65 16 Apr 12 1:28pm
In bed with yet another chest infection. Ended up in a&e and went through the familiar routine of nebulisers, steroids and antibiotics. And all because I caught another cold! It's only April yet this is the second time I've fallen ill this year. Been taking seretide religiously

Hi. We are finding it really hard to insure our two year old for asthma because she has had several hospital admissions this year and has been on a nebuliser three times since Xmas. Does anyone know where we can try? We are going to Europe and have ethic cards
