colonoscopy and endoscopy concerns
I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy in 1 week. My last colonoscopy was 8 years ago and the two colonoscopies before that found nothing but hemorrhoids ( all colonoscopies were pre CLL diagnosis in Oct of 2017). I have never had an endoscopy but I do have a cough that seems to start after

In vivo & in vitro: CRISPR 9 new approach to attack PCa proof of concept
The idea is to use the CRISPR technology to tweak prostate cancer cells so that they build up a specific type of compound (called porphyrins) that is usually harmless unless exposed to certain types of light. Taking Meds in the AM vs PM
Hi Iām newly on Kisqali and Letrozole and I am wondering if anyone has feedback about whether it seems better to take these during the day or at night before bed. Iāve heard that some people prefer a nighttime dosage to sleep through any nausea or fatigue Interested in any and all experiences Thanks

What happens when CT scan and ultrasound can't verify if it's an ovarian mass or not?
I (post-menopausal 52 y/o) went in to urgent care about a month ago with stomach pains. Doctor thought it was a ruptured appendix, but sent me for a CT scan to verify. Turns out it was diverticulitis, but on the CT scan they noticed a a complex cyst on my left ovary, however they couldn't be sure if

B12 injections and low dose naltrexone (LDN)
I have recently started using LDN (.25mg) w/ positive effects, however it recently seems like I need to increase my B12 injections. I have only been using LDN for a month. Maybe it is just a coincidence but would like others to share their experience/knowledge about this combination.

It wont be long
Hi All I have seen my Consultant today and she said it is time to start thinking about treatment. Not what I wanted to hear but after 14 years W&W I guessed it would come one day. She will arrange a CT Scan to check on Tumour burden (I think thats right) then just waiting on this. TP53 - deletion

salvage radiation after surgery?
Hi - Shouldnāt I be doing salvage radiation or chemotherapy now? I had my surgery February 25 and Doctor wants to wait for first PSA iat end of May. However surgical pathology showed negative margins but showed intraductal, cribriform, loss of PTEN. and PNI. Even though there was no EPE, no SVI, No LVI

AST, ALT high
Hi, while been on Interferon journey my AST and ALT rocketed up high to 64 for ast and 92 for alt.Is this change a concern ? How can I maintain liver enzymes ? I am on a low carb high fat diet but I am using all the healthy ingredients. Not sure if related. Haematologist doesn't seem worry about that
