ADT therapy and breast enlargement
Currently doing tri modality for unfavorable intermediate…(ADT prior to
Brachytherapy
, , and some ADT with LINAC… soon). I’m on the fence weather I should continue both ADT drugs after the completion of external beam.. e.g. adjuvant therapy.

Just joined the club no one wants to be a member of in April 2023 - can Gleason 9 be cured ?
Since then I have had 48 seeds planted via
Brachytherapy
and I am about to start EBRT. Has anyone ever achieved a goal of "cure" or even 5 year survival with Gleason 9 ? I am now on Eligard (leuprolide injection) and taking daily 240 mg of Erleada (apalutamide).

Gleason 6, 1 Yr AS, now Gleason 3+4
The past year I decided I'd go to Dr Kishan for sBRT but since then I am now onto high dose
Brachytherapy
, also done at UCLA in large numbers. This decision is due to less side effects, overall and successful 10 yr outcomes.

Prostate-Kidney and BPH Decision for treatment.
Secondary recommendation was for RT • EBRT with 6 months of ADT plus Brachy boost (This seems like the best option to me for potential cure, although HDR
Brachytherapy
as monotherapy appeals to me as well) • RO said if I didn’t want to do the above Radiation due to ADT then he would consider HDR

Change in Carcinoma
I had low dose
brachytherapy
in 2010 with seeds and success. My PSA started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose
brachytherapy
and my PSA is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate.

Intermediate favorable vs. unfavorable Gleason 7 acc.to 2 doctors + CLEAN PSMA, do we need third opinion +where? (Green Bay/Milwaukee areas)
You should know my husband is opposed to doing a radical prostatectomy and is pretty dead-set against ADT so when the cancer is treated we are leaning towards
brachytherapy
.

is this likely to be late radiation damage? Blood in urine.
I’ve been scouring the internet for advice in my specific circs and finally found this page 🤞 I was treated with chemoradiation and
brachytherapy
9 years ago for 2a cervical cancer. I’ve always had (since the treatment) iffy bowels and bladder - but low level, manageable if I’m careful.

Low Dose Seed Brachytherapy Side Effects
My question is: has anyone had LD
Brachytherapy
and how many days did you throw blood clots and have periodic very heavy gross hematuria? RO did a UA with reflex to culture today.

Hemorrhoid treatment after Brachytherapy for Prostate Cancer
I decided on HDR
Brachytherapy
. When I informed my colorectal surgeon that I would by getting radiation treatment, he told me that he could not treat my remaining hemorrhoids, since the rectal area would be subjected to radiation, and that the tissue may not heal.

After your endometrial cancer diagnosis, did you do any research? If so, where did you find the most useful information about your cancer?
I had a robotic hysterectomy, with BSO and removal of 16 lymph nodes, followed by 6 rounds chemo and 5 of
brachytherapy
. After chemo, I was followed with CT scans every 6 months until 2018. From that point, I have not had a recurrence and see my gynecologist every year.

HDR Brachytherapy
I’m resting up in my UK hospital bed after going through HDR-
brachytherapy
(as a monotherapy) the past two days, to treat intermediate stage (G3+4) PC. I had radiation delivered in two fractions, about 18 hours apart.

Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
I had HD
brachytherapy
for prostate cancer in 2010. In 2016, I was diagnosed with Carcinoma in Situ in the bladder. I’ve had multiple rounds of BCG, and I’m now heading towards a radical cystectomy.
