Bank Holiday fun (not!)
Evening all, hope those of you in the UK have had a good bank holiday weekend. Mine could have been better… I ended up in A&E on Saturday night with a racing heart (at times around 150bpm) after none of the tricks I’d read about would bring it down below 100. And when they tested my blood pressure

looking for alternative to LDN
Hi, My husband has taken LDN successfully for over 6 months but is now working in a country where it’s not prescribed and he isn’t permitted to take it in with him. I’ve been looking at supplements like lion’s mane etc and wondered if anyone here has any positive experiences? His TSH etc is checked

tired
I’ve been trying to get my t3 levels up getting a private prescription from a gp. Im now on 15 mcg split into 3 doses plus 50 mcg levothyroxine. I still feel awful and worry that as I was only sub clinical I’ve maybe overdone it I did have clinical symptoms of fatigue, weight gain, low mood raynauds

My T3 is too high and need to reduce cytomel
Hello everyone I test my thyroid with Lab Corp every 3-4 months. My T3 is over the range and I need to reduce the amount of cytomel. Im in the US and get Grossman cynomel. (cynomel is same as cytomel) I do the testing exactly as this forum recommends. Here are the results: Triiodothyronine

STILL can't find my dose
Last time I posted, I was going up to 225mcg, when at 200mcg my tsh was already 0.04 and FT4 17(9-19). Biggest mistake I ever made. I ended up feeling worse than ever before on 225mcg after about 4 weeks on it. The most SEVERE bedridden fatigue one could experience and the worst brain fog ever. No

Finally! My Thyroid Disease is Treated Optimally! :)
I just thought I would post my experience, prompted by my reply to a previous poster, who asked what they could realistically expect from optimal treatment. I think its helpful to see those that are happy on medication and their journey. I have been taking 75mcg of levo and 20mcg of lio daily for about

High TSH AND high T4 after thyroid removal
Hello, I'm a 38-year-old male with Thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma). I'm 174cm tall and weigh 152 lbs. I had surgery to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the surgery), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist

T4/3 combo
I’ve been taking Armour Thyroid for over 20 years. Previously on NHS but we moved house to a different area and new GP wouldn’t even discuss it. Armour Thyroid is now very expensive and not easy to obtain. I’m concerned about the long term importing and prescribing issues. Long scenario but now under

I have been on 150mcg levothyroxine constant since January 1st this year. Around the 20th February I started with shortness of breath and irregular heart beats which have continued daily and my t4 and tsh have gradually got better to where last weeks blood test show they are now within range. I am adamant

Any tips on getting through an increase in levothyroxine and feeling a bit rubbish
Hi everyone, after a too quick reduction in levothyroxine and an return of symptoms I’ve had an increase. I’m 3 weeks in to an increase to 100mcg daily and then in 4 weeks I’m to very slowly increase liothyronine from 10mcg to 20mcg (I’ll do this v gradually). I’m feeling really rubbish, exhausted
