Suggestions on dealing with the coughing fits each evening and night caused by saliva slipping down the patient's windpipe.
He has had
botox
injections which didn't seem to help, and has patches that suppress it to some extent. Sylvia also has a pump device that sucks saliva out of this mouth.

I was wondering if anyone has had botox in the piriformis or puborectalis and what their experiences were?
I am finding it difficult to find someone with experience that does
botox
, though I seem to remember reading that the Bristol team do it? Stephanie also recommended Khaleed Ayazi to review my medication. I wonder if he does
botox
? Thank goodness for the internet with this problem!

Hypothyroid Queen's drama and fuss, progress with autoimmune and LDN adventures!
I was amused at one particular gig we did to see what I thought was a sea of grimacing women.. only to realize that they collectively had had so much
botox
, that they were actually smiling!

This and That RLS
(I heard that
botox
is being used in experimental treatments studies recently) The neuro goes on to say that other people live with it and that I should join a support group to get ideas on coping. My General Practitioner says "Oh" and life goes on.

Bowel transplant patient morphs into patient NHS Commissioner
A gastric pacemaker became a gastro electrical stimulation process, my vomiting became idiopathic gastroparesis and
Botox
injections became intrapyloric botulinum procedures and so it went on. Having waded through that the killer question hit.

So having now had my 3rd
botox
injection in to the pyloris muscle in the stomach, the expectation from my side was that it would prevent vomiting for up to 3 months. I am now 10 days on and have been sick three times so what does that mean?

Has anyone had Botox treatment for migraine? Can everyone tell me their experience good and bad?
so am considering
Botox
to control the less severe ones? As I get all types. So I'm hoping the 'less' severe ones won't leave me bed bound at home with
Botox
? I've just read a thread where it's made them worse??? Please explain and were yours as severe as mine? Less severe? More?

Research needs YOU! All UK patients with cervical dystonia who have had botox please consider.
More specifically, we hope to speak to patients who are currently receiving
Botox
or Dysport injections as part of their treatment.

My first brush with Botox.
I had
Botox
for the first time yesterday, so it would be good to hear other peoples experiences. I'm getting some facial pain just now which is one of my on going health problems.

Pregabalin
After I tried absolutely everything except from
Botox
and Pregabalin, I have been on Pregabalin since about last November I think. The neurologist recommended the needed dose for migraines is 600mg but you have to build it up slowly.

Have you tried botox to give you relief from muscle tightness?
A good treatment for the relieving the symptoms of cp, I have found. I have become more resistant to the toxin as I have got older.
