My first brush with Botox.
I had
Botox
for the first time yesterday, so it would be good to hear other peoples experiences. I'm getting some facial pain just now which is one of my on going health problems.

Pregabalin
After I tried absolutely everything except from
Botox
and Pregabalin, I have been on Pregabalin since about last November I think. The neurologist recommended the needed dose for migraines is 600mg but you have to build it up slowly.

Have you tried botox to give you relief from muscle tightness?
A good treatment for the relieving the symptoms of cp, I have found. I have become more resistant to the toxin as I have got older.

GONI didn't really work
He has suggested
Botox
, but there's a two to three month waiting list, so in the meantime I shall just continue to manage my pain with paracetamol and Zomig - as I have been doing all my adult life.

Build Me Up
Sat here pretending to work, and cannot get a thought out of my head,
Botox
? or other fillers, I wonder if anyone is investigating whether they could be used to 'plug' the holes in my lungs?

Recently diagnosed with fibro and i dont know what to do!!!
Acupuncture, TMJ guards and countelss round of
botox
for my headaches. Nothing is helping me enough for me to lead a normal life. I have spent approx £2000 in total over 2 years trying to get help. My family and friends are lossing patience and i am struggling to cope with feeling like a burden.

On an American forum I read about a ‘Distal Urethral Polypropylene Sling’ for female urinary incontinence.
This seems to me better than a catheter or
botox
but I never heard about it till reading this and looking it up on google.

it goes on and on and on and on....
The irony is that I had
botox
on Monday! I know the
botox
is really for chronic pain in my arm & face but it does help the migraines. My arm & face feel pretty good already so that's something. Hope it goes for the bank holiday. Have already had to cancel 2 social engagements this week.

Botox for feet/toe and calf dystonia
Hi everyone I have read that a lot of you have
botox
treatment for dystonia. I was told that I could not have it as I do not have dystonia all the time and it would make my legs and feet go very floppy so I would not be able to walk. The pain, sensation and discomfort is driving me nuts.

My Neuro Dr says I now able to get funding for
Botox
. The thing I'm concerd about is that the NHS will only let you have a maximum of 1 to 2 goes at this treatment . I e if is helps I will only get 1 shot and if it doesn't 2 goes, then that's it. Surly this is not enough?.

Could someone explain what a peg is?
He has had 2 rounds of
Botox
injections to help with spasticity and hopefully pain but as time goes on this pain is becoming harder to control. There seems to be no consistency to when it occurs or how long it will last or the severity of it.

Were the injections steroids, pain blockers, muscle relaxants,
Botox
, or nerve blockers?

Anyone had or heard about botox injections into muscles
Hi, I saw a different specialist on Weds who suggested trying
botox
injections into muscles in my arms and legs to relieve contractions and spasms. Has anyone had this or heard about it? I live in France so things may be different here - I don't know.

Is anyone like me? Menstrual Migraine + Chronic Headache / Migraine related to Neck / Shoulders
I am considering
Botox
in the shoulders to try and get some form of relief. Does anybody suffer the same? It seems the two interact to me, but i am desperate to get a break from feeling terrible all the time. Appreciate any advice ;-)
