Apologies for repeating this question but I have not been able to find it on the website or any replies to it. So first question - How do I find a question that I have posted, along with any responses? But the original question - I have been diagnosed by my GP as having low bone density after a scan

As a result of some symptoms I reported to my Transplant Coordinator (“TC”) because I was recently prescribed Sodium Bicarbonate for the low CO2 result in my blood test, the TC ordered a Urine Culture test for me at LabCorp. It came back with a “colony” of bacteria in my bladder.

I have tried most alternatives recommended, settled on Coconut Oil with a little Bicarbonate of Soda. I make herbal mouthwash with distilled water, Rosemary and Star Anise I apply D3/K2 topically and soak my feet (or whole self) in Epsom Salts for magnesium. I'm not sure what I've done right.

I was diagnosed this last June and would love input from others as I refused the medication Fosamax but decided to improve my situation naturally through healthy eating, exercises and supplements. Changed from Calcium carbonate to citrate, added K2 for better calcium absorption. Seeing a physical therapist

Anyone have any experience or tips for managing bicarbonate levels? My Dr doesn’t want to put me on pills just yet until a repeat lab. Ps I’m 35 and have had my kidney for 30yrs

I have started supplementing with Betaine HCL in the interim as I didn't burp at all after doing the bicarbonate of soda test and I seem to have many symptoms of low stomach acid. I'm curious to know if my persisting symptoms might mean that I need a dose increase/more T3?

hi i am a 42, fighting pca since March 2021, initial psa 189.6, mets across skeletal system, immediate bilateral oritectomy , 10 chemo and abi took my psa to <0.006. but my dexa scan shows moderately low bone density with T score -1.3 in femur neck. my doc is inclined to continue with shelcal

She currently takes tacrolimus (3.2 mg BD), sytron, bicarbonate, cefalexin and prednisolone (2.5mg every other day), alphacalcitol and darbepoetin. Her creatinine is very high and currently stands at 286umol/L and urea 23.9 mmol/L all other parameters are normal.

Co2 is low so bicarbonate building up in blood. If it doesn't come up starting dialysis next month. Kidney function went from 22 in January to 18 2 days ago.

I have extremely high O2, low CO2, low bicarbonate, low sodium and alkaline pH. Booked in for cardiologist and stress test next week, followed by cardiopulmonary exercise test. Living in lockdown, disabled by this breathlessness. Can anyone relate?

I now clean the bath and sink with washing up liquid and bicarbonate of soda - it's better than any other cleaner - just try it. I'm now wondering whether chemicals we use or get close to, such as farmers spraying crops, could lead to AF attacks.

I continue to take bicarbonate daily, keeping the pH of my urine and saliva ~8.0 (Could keeping my body fluids at higher alkaline levels have played a role in preventing bone Mets?? —-> A published study with mice found that elevated pH levels diminished metastasis).

Not a single doctor figured out a way to treat my condition or in other words nothing worked for me like: (sodium citrate, potassium citrate, potassium bicarbonate). Does anyone has this condition? I’m trying to prevent dialysis and kidney failure with a healthy diet only.
