Pregabalin + Ropinirole or Opioids
After a recent post from Amrob explaining that they add 0.125mg or 0.25mg Clonazepam to 300 mg Pregabalin when the Pregabalin does not cut ... I do the same with Ropinirole, adding 0.125mg nightly to 300 mg Pregabalin, because I will never get to sleep otherwise ..... I wonder what the thoughts are

Dopamine agonists
Why does https://www.rls-uk.org/faqs still say under Treatments for RLS "Dopamine agonists are often recommended for people with more frequent symptoms. These include ropinirole, pramipexole and rotigotine." No mention in that answer of problems with augmentation and that Gabapentin/ Pregabalin is the

pregabelin side effects
I explained to my dr that sertraline had caused my restless leg to return. Previously it was under control with iron. She put me on a low dose of pregabelin, 25mg to take at night and continue with sertraline in the morning. The first night was ok…ish. I did sleep much better. but the second night

Hello friends, having already reported that I’d attempted to reduce my Ropinirole medication prior to my visit to see the GP one back on 6mg tablets spread throughout the day and night, Sue agreed that it was probably the best course of action and I’m again getting some much needed sleep and the pains

Today I feel great!
Yesterday I had some minor surgery but under general anaesthetic. I don’t know if it is the anaesthetic, the oramorph glug I had post op or the day of complete rest, but today, I feel like I did before FMS, RLS and PLMD came to stay! I even slept completely between wee breaks! Long may it last!!!

ropinirole
I have been taking ropinirole for more than 40 years. 1 mg at night. It works for me but now I am terrified because apparently it has been withdrawn and I can’t get it in any of the farmacias in the Valencia region. I tried gabapentin - no effect at wll. I gave just been prescribed pregabalin and didn

DET fail, 6th transfer attempt - what now?
Help! I have just found out my sixth transfer of my 7th and 8th embryos has failed. I have had one pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks and the rest have all been failed implantations. For the last two transfers i have been on an immune protocol so doctor thinks we have that side covered.

Now on Gabapentin, not sure about it.
I have had rls for over 30 years, and many years ago I was given Pramipexole. I refused to increase the dose, so my GP begrudgingly gave me Tramadol. Like the Prami it worked for a while, then stopped working. GP offered my Ropinerole, I declined, he said there was no other option. Long story short

Who here have the same problems with their legs?
More than 20 years ago I was awakened by the worst pain I have ever had and it’s been hell ever since then. As long as I’m standing, I’m fine. But as soon as I lay down it feels like I’m laying next to the devil. To give you an idea how intense the pain is, it will wake me up even if I’m sedated.

Restless legs or Periodic limb movement
Hi everyone , I think I have restless legs but not been diagnosed, doctor has treated it as restless legs , my legs don’t just move around they intensely kick or jerk out at force in the air , but I do have the sensation before that happens , like my leg is getting ready to fire! Which it does then builds

GP suggesting alternative to citalopram to reduce PMR pain??
My GP has just suggested that I consider changing from 20mg daily citalopram (that I’ve been taking for last 3.5 years to combat menopause symptoms) to Duloxerine because “it will help reduce some of PMR pain”. I’m confused. I know she is concerned because I’m having trouble reducing from 17-20mg

Gabapentin for RLS
I was diagnosed with RLS around three weeks ago and have now been prescribed Gabapentin by my GP having rejected his initial prescription of Ropinirole. My RLS symptoms were initially very severe at night but I was generally symptom free during the day. This has now altered and I am now experiencing

Depressed, hopeless and sleep deprived with RLS. HELP??
I’ve had RLS for 40 years and have been on almost every medicine out there. I’ve been in Requip for 6 years - 2 mg XL, 2 2mg Requip along with clonopin & methadone. My neurologist of 15 years has given up on me. I saw another one a few weeks ago and she said everything she’d prescribe, I’ve already

Insomnia add CBD oil
CBD oil acts on different receptors than Opioids and THC . If you are taking low dose CBD with THC or medical marijuana and you still suffer insomnia add extra pure CBD oil. If you suffer from opioid insomnia add PURE CBD OIL always sublingual it has some many health benefits a great nights sleep

Thalassemia and PA
Hello, I've been telling everyone I know about PA, and so far two friends quite possibly have it. One definitely. But my nieces husband and daughter have Thalassemia. A very rare genetic blood disorder. When i googled it, I was surprised to see it can be linked to b12d and PA. Does anyone here have this

Does half dose of sertraline make any difference?
I’ve spoken to a GP this morning (not my usual one, sadly) about my restless legs having returned since taking sertraline. She mentioned other antidepressants as an alternative but all of them are listed as having restless legs as side effects. She suggested halving the dose. As I’m only on the lowest
