Diarrhoea can be a symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency!
So if you get these other symptoms or a number of them as well, it's worth getting your B12 checked out with a doctor. The symptoms are: *Rapid breathing or shortness of breath *Headaches *Indigestion *Loss of appetite *Palpitations *Vision problems *Weakness and/or tiredness

Been put on trimbow
Following up to my previous post about well-controlled (or not) asthma, I filled in an online consultation form. Had a phone call from the surgery pharmacy team who suggested I try trimbow. I did explain my concerns about the anticholinergic bit as I had a rough time trying Spiriva in November and

Had my appointment
Thank you for everyone's advice a few weeks ago. I had my long awaited appointment today. I shared my symptoms, along with frequencies etc. I explained my usual stress response which is very different to the symptoms I'm getting. The Dr listened to my chest, said there wasn't a wheeze but it sounded

male hormones
Hi Ladies and Gents I wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can find a group/expert about male hormones? It’s for my husband, he has no thyroid issues, it’s about other hormones. He did a Randox test and it turns out he has elevated FSH, LH, Prolactin and Oestradiol. His Testosterone is ok, he is

Jevtana
Once again I am asking for any information that can be provided from this great group. Would appreciate any information for Jevtana treatment. At doctor's appt yesterday, my husband's hemoglobin had decreased to 7.6 and he had to have a blood transfusion. His Alkaline Phosphatase went up again.

blood tests
hi lovely people, I was wondering if you could give me any advice. I’m relatively new to all of this and I’ve had a very bad experience at my last hospital. I was misdiagnosed most of last year with Complex Regional Pain disease. My rheumatologist wouldn’t even consider an autoimmune disease. Anyway

Biotin interference with Thyroid bloodwork
I am due for follow up blood work and just remembered that biotin interferes with the test results. How far in advance must I quit taking my B complex which has 100% daily requirement of Biotin? My last TSH a few months ago was .03, super low for me. I usually run between 1.5 and 2. But my FT4 was

Emphysema on Lung Health Scan
I have mild emphysema FVC/FEV1 ratio 65% FVC % of normal 119% FEV1% of normal 104% I recently had a lung health check for cancer ( negative ) but there was no mention of emphysema on my letter --- I asked my doctor this morning & he said it probably didn't show up because your lung damage is mild

Defining well controlled asthma

Decrease Nubeqa?
I'm 83, prostate cancer(PSA 30) with negative bone scan, negative MRI, but PET shows multiple small mets throughout both lungs and multiple lymph nodes throughout the chest. Started with 600 mgm bid of Nubeqa, and Orgovyx 120 mgm once a day. I also received radiation to the prostate approx. 6 months

Hypothyroid muscle aches
I have been sub-clinically hypothyroid for at least 14 years, based on my medical records, and was was treated for hypothyroid when my T4 dipped below range for a short while. Stopped when back into bottom of range and T4 always remained low. My TSH was normally around 4.5 - 5. When I asked for treatment

Eye problems following catheter ablation
I am now 10 weeks post catheter ablation.Following the procedure I developed aura migraines daily for around 10 days. The fact sheets explained that this was a possible complication and should rectify itself, which it did and 🤞 I have not had any migraines since. I have now developed a bloodshot patch
