helpful article
I feel people are often wondering why they can’t have
Avastin
or PARPs again and this article gives good scientific answers about many results from trials. It doesn’t help me because I’m on third line chemo and this only covers first and second.

XB0002-101 trial ( jewel??)
It would be the solo drug for me, not the other arms of the trial which includes
avastin
and nivolumab in conjunction with trial drug. Thanks

Clear Cell Progression
My taxol/carboplatin &
Avastin
chemotherapy treatment was discontinued after 3 infusions, as CT scan showed progression of tumors, and invasion into my liver. The doctors at UCSF have not much to offer as no targetable gene mutations were identified.

Update on previous post re lung nodules
I can no longer have
Avastin
due to recent bowel surgery & risk of perforation. I came away feeling hopeful from my meeting but still unsure about these lung lesions who they thought were benign as they had not grown from Nov 23 (diagnosis) to June (remission).

hi all you very supportive ladies . 4 years since my diagnosis with stage 3 ovarian cancer I have had all the chemo combinations available plus
Avastin
and PARP inhibitors . I was then in a clinical trial for a year which had a small effect and finished in March.

Gemcitabine
I've been on Carbo/Gem +
Avastin
since March. A few delays to treatment due to flu, covid, low neutrophils & low platelets. Just recently I had to have a couple of ambo trips to emergency due to intense abdo pain & I am currently in hospital (5th day) while they have been investigating the cause.

Not sure how to help/plan
She's now on
avastin
. Nothing in her liver but nodules in her lungs that shrunk a little with chemo. As far as I understand that's the only cancer in her at the moment. It's not BRCA related.

Normal/not normal?
I've got 2 more
avastin
to go and I'm on lynpraza still. I haven't had a scan since last May and haven't seen my oncologist since a year last September, I just get phone calls off pharmacy to check up and send out more lynpraza every 8 weeks.

Post 2nd line chemo options
She has her oncologist meeting later today and she is particularly worried that, as she has had
Avastin
before, that there will be nothing they can do now to try and keep the cancer at bay.

avastin side effects
I’m currently receiving
avastin
immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks. I’m wondering if others are on this and what side effects you might be experiencing.

PV and AMD?
I've recently been diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration and have been treated with intravitreous
avastin
. I've seen some papers suggesting that AMD is more common for people with MPNs. Has anyone else had this experience? Steve, ,age 79

Hair, brows and eyelashes!
But in mid Feb I had to start Lynparza and
Avastin
(Bev). About two weeks ago I noticed my lashes are falling out waaaay faster than they should normally even though I’m using a topical (Grand Lash) that is supposed to help them grow. This is so discouraging.
