Rash when taking avastin

Has anyone experienced an itchy rash while taking this medication.

Hi,

While I was taking Avastin an itchy skin rash wasn't experienced, although I was aware of those side effects.

Best to report it for your best outcome,

it may well be transient and improve with time.

Yes, it's my experience, not very itchy, but on face (forehead) and neck. I finish Avastin this month 🙂

Did you get it right away or did it take a while. Did it ever go away on its own

I really dont't remember 😜I started Avastin with chemo, but I think it was few months later. Sometimes the rash is mild, sometimes getting worse. I will see when finish therapy (I take also Olaparib)

I have had some. I used cortisone anti-itch cream. Avastin knocked my tumor back to a much smaller size

My face broke out a lot like a pimply teenager when I first started taking Avastin. Eventually calmed itself down.
