Had a cardioversion in Dec 2024 which was successful but recently feeling really fatigued, getting irregular beats, really tired, fast chest pounding, no energy and short episodes of palpitations.Have a CRT pacemaker fitted in Oct 2024 and have total heart block after AV node ablation.
Just don't feel myself lately and have no way of checking heart rhythm other than calling pm clinic on Monday due to being 100% paced
You can check your pulse yourself by counting the beats for 30 seconds and multiplying by 2 as recommended by the AFA or invest in a Kardia, which with the app, will give you a reading of what your heart is up to whenever you feel it is playing up.
I'm paced 100% my pulse will be steady due to ventricular pacing, pacing corrects AFib to the ventricle from the atrium so my pulse will probably be regular but you still have AFib in the atrium.Been advised by my EP that a monitoring device to check a irregular pulse wouldn't be reliable in my case
Not in AFib, pacing clinic confirmed today after I sent in a remote report.No idea why I'm getting this pounding and irregular beats but it's knocking bits out of me.
