my 18 year old son we have been told can claim uc anyone help us with this he has autism severe and hyper mobility and dyspraxia

I know some don't understand me what autism is like and I have very bad meltdowns because others don't understand why I am behaving in this way and they don't listen to me they don't believe me that they are causing my meltdowns because they are not understanding me.

I have just been advised the Autism Assessments are 18 mths (if your lucky) to 2 years and on top of that the school are only assigned so many hours, so that to have someone from the team come in and write a report it takes another 3 to 5 mths July/Sept.

My son has ADHD--combined type and Level 1 autism w/ social communication impairments and restricted, repetitive pattern impairment without intellectual or language impairment. I know this forum is for ADHD, but I believe there are a few other parents on here who have kids with ADHD & Autism.
