Testosterone too high?
I recently had my quarterly PSA and T tests, following stopping 18 months of ADT (Orgovyx) in April of 2022. PSA continued to de undetectable (<0.01) and T was 761. The last quarterly T was 706. Having had an initial PC Dx of GL9, Stage 4, Decipher .76 (July 2019) should I be concerned that T is

Use hormone therapy or not with Proton therapy
Hi All, Question, doctor is suggesting hormone therapy along with proton therapy (28 treatments of radiation) my gleason score went from 3+3 to 4+3 last year and psa doubled from 10 to 20. I tried to get in to this study to determine the genetics of tumor but they said tumor sample was bad. should

Chemo Failed
My dad finished Docetaxel in November. He went to oncologist today. His PSA went from 0.58 to 2.3. Things he tried: Lupron (on for years before failed) Zytiga (worked for 18 months) Orchidectomy Then the chemo. He is not a candidate for radiation because of a previous cancer. He is going to

Failing ADT
Hi- I thought I would seek some advice before I meet with my MO tomorrow morning. I have responded well to treatment of metPC since my dx 11+ years ago. About 2+ years ago my PSA became measurable and was rising. After about a year or so I think it reached .37. Following a PSMA scan, my MO saw only

Personal update
Ok, first blood work, 3 weeks after the last chemo of ARASENS protocol PSA is 0.39, it was 70 at diagnosis and 15 after 4-5 weeks (when I have started ARASENS) Testosterone 0.33 nmol/L well, that's it!

PSA to have stabilized after skyrocketing. What does this mean?
With PSA rising very rapidly four months ago after finishing Eclipse Trial, I had SBRT done immediately followed by Provenge. PSA on the day of SBRT was 2.0. It’s my understanding that Provenge will not affect PSA testing so it’s hard to determine progress. Obviously, there is still cancer still there

mHSPCa with undetectable PSA - chemo-only?
Is chemo-only justified, without ADT/androgen receptor pathway inhibitors, in a case like mine with two new mets discovered and with PSA less than 0.1? I have had no SOC medication since 2.5 years, after SRBR to a single identified met. Gleason 9. This study points to ADT not being of benefit to low-PSA

Delay date for Lupron injection
I am due to get my third 6 monthly dose of Lupron injection in late May. I plan to travel during that time. Is there any harm if I should postpone the injection date by 2 or 3 weeks beyond the 6 months dateline? My PSA reading is currently below 0.1 ug/l. Secondly, I am contemplating going on ADT vacation

Low PSA + high Gleason-FYI
I’ve just heard that this is a thing. Unfortunately it seems to affect my outcome. For instance, I had an initial PSA of 4.8 (4.6 after retesting), and I’m Gleason 9. Three of my doctors have mentioned it to me in passing (most recently today), which led me to Google it. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Docetaxel results so far
People want to know if Docetaxel is worth doing due to the side effects. My husband just had a recent PSMA PET scan after 5 treatments and the result is compared with the same scan method done before treatment began: Impression (Summary) Mild improvement in subcarinal adenopathy, left lung

PSA went up after three treatments of chemotherapy
I have had 3 Chemotherapy treatments with Docataxel. before the first treatment PSA was 89. after the first treatment PSA was 73.31.. after the second treatment PSA was 52.82. after the third treatment, PSA was 73.31.. does it make sense to take another chemotherapy treatment since the PSA has risen

What should I expect at the end?
My dad 77 year old had been battling castration resistant prostate cancer for many years. He was in remission for awhile (unsure exactly how long as he was secretive about the whole thing) however it made a huge comeback in January of 2022 and he has been through a short stint of chemo as well as

PSA still undectable
it’s been 4 months now since I didn’t have my ADT injection ( so 7 months since the last one). Continuing on Apalutamide as a monotherapy atm. Pleased to have experienced Christmas and a 3 week hol in Barbados with no bad news as Decembers have bed. Dodgy in the past. Back at work now - enjoyed

Radiation PSA, Orgovyx, Bone density Update
Rouge clone radiation on 10/31/23 has PSA from 4.83 on 11/20/23 to 0.85 on 12/18. HOWEVER, PSA up to 1.85 on 1/29/24. Disappointing to say the least I see MO next week and presume we start the Plarify scan to identify source and possibly more radiation to kill it. Switch from Eligard to Orgovyx since
