177Lu-PSMA-617: Trial shows it's more effective than changing ARPIs
"Patients who enrolled in the trial were assigned to either a change in ARPI, for example from abiraterone to enzalutamide or vice versa, or 177Lu-PSMA-617, a prostate-specific antigen (PSMA)-targeted radioligand therapy. This analysis found that treatment with 177Lu-PSMA-617 prolonged radiographic progression-free

radiation treatment delayed
2 years since prostatectomy. Psa still non detectable. Will get it checked again in 6 months or 1 year depending on urologist suggestion. I feel blessed since standard protocol was radiation to the pelvic area had 6 Month Lupron shot since they found positive pc in limp nodes and tissue extracted.

3months Post-HD Brachytherapy
Follow up from my previous post & many thanks to the helpful advice from members here. I scheduled a teleconference with Dr Albert Chang at UCLA in November, scheduling is 3 months out so treatments were Feb.3 and 6. Normally a week apart but since I flew in they did 3days apart. We stayed at the Luskin

Surgery or radiation, looking for some advices
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advices for my father. He was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He probably already had it for a long time. Quite high PSA (way over 20), and spread to multiple lymph nodes. The surgeon said surgery is still doable, followed by radiation. Radiation oncologist

Xofigo anyone?
So my PSA is rising after Chemo, Lupron and NUBEQA (Darolutamide). It rose from 0.04 in June 2023 to 0.84 at the end on April 2024 with latest time of doubling about 5 weeks, 2.3 years after diagnosis. I don't have organ on lymph node metastasis yet. My oncologists team suggests Xofigo/Ra-223 as a next

Brachyboost and PSA progression free survival question
We just received our appointment summary from the radiation oncologist and there is a comment in it that is confusing me. It’s not how I remember the conversation, so I am wondering if someone can clarify ( Tall_Allen ?). ”We can proceed with EBRT followed by LDR brachytherapy boost and minimum 6 months

PSMA scan
I spoke with RO and we are going to radiate the autocaval lymph node lit up per the above scan. My PSA was .027. I hope this knocks it out. I am also contemplating ADT but unsure which would work first or second generation.

PSA test
my husband had a PSA done and it raised from 0,5 to 0,7. He finished proton radiation las year January, the PSA went down to 0,5. is this normal, or should he take any action? He will be 81 years old this coming September, would it be okay to let it go. Has anybody have this experience? Thank you for

Today was a good day
My husband had his PSMA scan today and it was negative for mets!! I am so relieved! He also had his PSA tested today and no change since December. I feel like I can breathe for a moment. We also met with the radiation oncologist this morning to discuss brachytherapy boost and it was a very positive meeting

rising PSA and 'light' advancement of mets in hip bones. Diagnosed stage 4 in March 2021.
Greetings! My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in March 2021. ADT dropped the PSA quite a bit. We started seeing Dr. George at Duke March of 2023 and he had my husband on a round of docetaxel. After that the many bone mets and some on lungs 'disappeared'. Now it looks like they
