Chemo/Pluvicto or Clinical Trial?
I have stage 4, mcrpc with mets to pelvic lymph nodes and prostate. ADT (Firmagon and Zytiga) kept PSA undetectable for ~2.5 years, then PSA started to rise. I had radiation to prostate in March of this year, which did not help. I started a clinical trial in October at NYU (LAVA 1207 immunotherapy)

Has anyone used a TENS machine to stimulate the Vagus nerve via the ear to reduce Afib?
I have Vagal Afib and recently started using a tens machine on my left ear twice daily for 15 minutes. Applied to the Concha in the ear and the ear lobe to complete the circuit. 20hZ at 200 microseconds, wetting the ear and contacts with some saliva to get a good connection. I discovered 2 months ago

An exciting new clinical trial called STEM-PD is due to start in Sweden and the UK for Parkinson’s.
The symptoms of Parkinson’s are caused by the loss of dopamine-producing nerve cells or neurons in the brain; and researchers have long proposed using cell transplantation as a treatment option for replacing these lost dopamine cells. One challenge presented to research teams however has been generating

Afib has reared its ugly head again big time, for me.
After years of calm, when I only had an occasional flutter , Afib started again in April following which I had three or four episodes lasting a few hours. On Sunday I was sitting down reading and it started again, expecting it to last just the usual six of seven hours I was still in Af on Tuesday

How to stop irregular heartbeat and is there medicine to take for this
I just had an irregular heartbeat for 14 ½ hours. My blood pressure was down during part of this time. Lowest point 78/60 my heart beat was not above 93 at the highest point, it was fluctuating. I didn’t know how to get this to stop and return to normal. Is there medicine that I can take for this

NT-proBNP Level query
Trying to line up a few questions for a Cardio call in December and cannot seem to find this bit out. My last Se N-term pro BNP conc result was 444 ng/L, is this the same as pg/mL? It came back as abnormal with normal given as 0-400, I`m 66, so could I have Heart failure as no one has said I have.

Irisin reduces AS aggregation
Amelioration of pathologic α-synuclein-induced Parkinson’s disease by irisin Irisin is an exercise-induced polypeptide secreted by skeletal muscle that crosses the blood–brain barrier and mediates certain effects of exercise. Here, we show that irisin prevents pathologic α-synuclein (α-syn)-induced

How long does Bisoprolol take to work
Hi everyone. New to this forum. Diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation just this weekend, 19 hours in hospital assessment unit, & treatment with Bisoprolol (10mg). Am on 10mg daily now, and have taken today's. Heart is still way too fast though - 90-110 resting. Any idea when it should revert to normal?

Hi All, I have been part of this great group for the last year or so, and although I wish none of us were here, I’m glad to have found an online community that shares the same concerns as myself. I’m 37 years old now and I was diagnosed with ET in 2009 when I was 24, so it was kind of a shock, but

Palpitations at night
I had a third ablation nearly three weeks ago and am in sinus rhythm, but I'm having trouble sleeping because of an uncomfortable thumping heart when I go to bed, that keeps me awake for a while, though it's OK in the mornings. After the ablation my consultant told me to halve my Bisoprolol dose,

What happens next please?
Advice sought from those further on the path please. I had a successful cardio version in July after 6.5 months of high rate permanent AF not well controlled by digoxin, bisoprolol, furosemide, and apixaban. I was told to just stop the digoxin after the cardio version which left me on 10mg of bisoprolol

Broccoli Sprout Beverage can clear Acrolein
I am doing a deep dive on the benefits of Broccoli Sprouts and/or Sulforaphane. There seem to be a lot of benefits, so I am posting on them one benefit at a time. As I post more information, I will add the new information to a master document on Broccoli Sprouts - Sulforaphane so we end up with a cohesive
