Brown Inhaler ran out and didn't realise
Hi I'm panicking as my 12 year old son has been using clenil modulite regularly for the past seven years and has never missed a dose. I've just discovered that the canister must have been empty for the past five days when he was using it. I've started him up again on it but I'm panicking about the abrupt

Inhaler dose counting
Hi, I have real trouble remembering to take my preventer, recalling if i just took it once twice or none, and how many doses left. I've used a diary, an app, calendar reminders, task lists, pen and paper you name it. In my defence I have a small brain and I find it gets full quickly. Even in the 30 seconds

Gleason 9 (5+4) 10+ years ago - widely metastatic cancer and running out of options!
My husband was diagnosed in 2007 at age 57, Gleason 9 (5+4), PSA 18. [PSA at age 50 was 10 - a 3 core biopsy showed nothing so he was told he simply had a high baseline PSA]. He started ADT in late 2007 and had iodine brachytherapy in 2008. PSA rose rapidly after surgery. Combidex scan in Holland

Question about IMRT on multiple targets simultaneously
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 M1b prostate cancer nearly 4 years with a Gleason score of 9 and a PSA doubling time of 2 months. My prostate and seminal vesicles were removed 3 years ago. I have gone through Lupron, Zytiga, and Xtandi. I take Xgeva for the bone metastases and for the last 18 months they

Could my psa variations be a result of lab errors ?

Ravenously hungry/binging before attack
Hi there yesterday evening I had my first attack for about a year. I take two puffs of clenil modulite twice a day, and through the winter months this is enough to keep symptoms at bay. My trigger is mostly tree pollens and rape seed crop. My question is this, does anyone else get a raging hunger

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT ?
Greetings to all. I joined this wonderful PCa Support Group in September 2016. I have just completed my 2 year continuous ADT2 ( Zoladex 10.8mg + Calutide 50mg ) which is a part of my initial treatment regimen. I am reasonably well informed about PCa but I am very much interested in getting the valuable

New to Asthma and very scared
Hi all! I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Ben and in December I came down with a serious case of Bronchitis. Ever since then I have pretty much been constantly short of breath, had a tight chest, a cough (sometimes dry, sometimes productive, it seems to depend on how open my airways are) and

Axumin PET Scans?
Hey guys, After my last appt in Feb, my PSA had risen from .05 to 0.1. My urologist suggested that we wait before proceeding to the next decision point until we get a second consecutive rise in PSA. That appointment is scheduled in May. Today I got a call from the scheduler at my urologist's office

Correct Therapy for High Risk PCa (Gleason 9)
I am diagnosed with a HighRisk PCa (GL 4 + 5 = 9, PSA 12,5, Staging Ta2 - Ta3 after Biopsy, CT and BoneCT) before 6 weeks. I am still fighting with me regarding the therapy decission as German Uros prefer the Operation first and followed by a IMRT if necessary and the Radiooncologists prefer Initial

Radiate pelvic lymph nodes or start Provenge and Enzalutamide ??
DaVinci RP in Nov 2012, Gleason 9 and PSA was 2.0 at 3 month check. Rad Onc advised salvage IMRT not likely to help as PSA was indicating systemic disease so we began continuous ADT which took PSA below .1 for the next 3 yrs. In Jan 2016 my PSA was again at 2.0 and we revisited the salvage RT option

Live It Up and Die Happy II
The Medical profession loves to attack Ty Bollinger as a "bad guy" but lets take a closer look at the guys in white the "good guys". When Lupron was approved by the FDA as a replacement for DES the URO's were bribed to put all their PCa cases on Lupron. If you go back and look at the statistics you will

Daughter 7 years!
Hello :-) I'm writing about my daughter who is 7 years. She's just 2 days ago changed to clenil modulite 100. Does anyone know if it takes a couple of days/weeks to take effect?

What to expect post surgery from PSA scores
PSA question: On 11/15/16 I had robotic surgery and had both seminal vesicles removed along with 10 lymph nodes. This is my third treatment shot at my cancer having been diagnosed in 2001 at age 56. I did IMRT in 2001, went 10 years with a gradual rising PSA. Then in 2011, with a new biopsy, completed

Radiation as a first-line treatment
I was diagnosed with Gleason 3+4 PCa in 2007. The two options that were recommended to me were robotic assisted radical prostatectomy or radiation. The surgeon that I consulted did not leave me with a feeling of confidence, and I also consulted with a radiation oncologist who recommended IMRT. I went

American Horror Story II
I did further investigation and here is what I found: In the American Horror Story post I recounted the experience of Chuck. Chuck was doing well on ADT but decided to have the Choline 11 Pet Scan. It was determined that Chuck had Oligometastatic PCa with Retroperitoneal Lymph Node involvement. Surgery
