Ok. I’m at 68 year old male who had three ablations over 3 years. they didn’t work went on Tykosyn worked great for about three years but was getting dangerous numbers QTC numbers so I stopped to tykison now in persistent Afib but in the middle of all this I have 100% heart block because Covid blew out

Hi Newly diagnosed SVT … now on Bisoprolol 1.25 per day and Flecinade 50 mg x2 per day and (sorry about spelling) I am under the amazing Dr Murray at the Freeman and he is amazing. I have been on the meds for a month nearly now and just got over side effects and feel nearly normal again. My SVT

He is still breathless and having arrhythmia esp at night and atrial flutter. He has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We are on a long waiting list for another hospital appointment and I am really worried. Thank you

Currently, in the US, there is one electrophysiologist for every 6,500 AF and arrhythmia (heart rhythm disorder) patients. The number of AF patients is expected to double by 2030.

If so what treatment have you had. I’m awaiting review by an EP. I’m 9 months post heart attack and 6 months post cardio version for AFib. Female now 60yrs. Thanks

I have had a consultation on the phone but only with the arrhythmia nurse who is ok but I do feel she isent listening to me. I feel that after all the tests I do need to see someone !and discuss any options or treatment I may or may not need . Thank you

Hi I'm 42 years old man that just got 5 heart stent 1 month ago . I'm relatively fit doesn't smoke nor drink alcohol. After phone call from cardiologist last evening informing me of episodes of broad complex tachycardia on my 5 day ECG I’m left with many questions. I’m a 60yr female. HA and AFib 9 months ago. Not a risk factor in sight. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Being referred to electrophysiologist. Any advice please. Thank you.

Like it makes me fear that it might be a heart arrhythmia however only experiencing twice and both in the exact same circumstances, I don’t know. Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what it could be or a similar experience. Thank you.

Hi. I have an ablation planned for tomorrow and suffer paroxysmal AF....normally. To-day, though, it seems to have gone into overdrive albeit at a relatively slow rate i.e. <100 bmp. This is my first ablation although having had 1 cardioversion. Is it normal for anxiety to set in and cause more AF

Also, I've never experienced any arrhythmia during exercise before. Anyhow, my question is, realistically, after 4 months, what is the likelihood that this is due to my heart still healing from the ablation?

I also have SVT which is a heart arrhythmia for which I take beta blockers statins and aspirin. Just lately I have been getting palpitations more often - 5 lots yesterday alone. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience of this and whether it is down to the steroids.

Three or four times I have had short episodes of Afib and/or arrhythmia happening between 1-2 am. I take a PIP and do deep breathing and things return to sinus rhythm. The pulse never gets high, last time stayed in the 60’s.

It is therefore important to refer the most challenging cases, including patients with a history of ventricular tachycardia or arrhythmia or difficult to manage CHF, before beginning BTKi treatment.

The reason I am asking is that he and the GP seem to think amitriptyline on a low dose to start with would be ok to take, but I am concerned that the meds could cause problems with arrhythmia. Lily
