My first Blue Horizon blood test results are back! Would be grateful if you could have a look for me please?
This is my first blood test since increasing my Levo dose from 50mg to 75mg. (Accord 50mg and Mercury Pharma 25mg. ) I weigh almost 60kg . It was taken at 8.30am, I hadn’t eaten for 12 hours and my last dose of Levo was 26 hours previous. Hemi-thyroidectomy 14 months ago. Before this my TSH was

Study to help patients manage their underactive thyroid
Just saw this and thought both that it is interesting it is being done. And, secondly, wondered if any would be willing to take part. I've scan read the information about the study and it appears that there is no geographical limit (please reply to let me know if I am wrong!) - just that you need to

London endocrinologists (private or not) who prescribe T3
I've been taking NDT for a few years but recently my symptoms are returning, and other forums seem to suggest that NDT like
Armour
and
Thyroid
S are losing their effectiveness. So I'm thinking of going privately to see if I can get T3 prescribed alongside levothyroxine.

Oestrogen dominance & poor T3 conversion
I’m interested to get any information on oestrogen dominance and it’s impacts on thyroid especially with the conversion of T4 into T3 thyroid hormone, which leads to low T3 levels.

Iodine - no thyroid.
I had my thyroid removed in 2003 due to papillary cancer. I have struggled ever since finding the right dosage/supplements. I have just watched Dr Sarah Myhilll's thyroid video for the umpteenth time and have purchased some of her supplements even though some of them contain iodine. Any thoughts

Sourcing NDT medication
Hi, I’d appreciate anyone who can PM me with their current source for thyroid medication. I’m in the UK and managed to get Thyroid-s from a thailand shop a few years back, which was much better value than the US pharmacy I was using before that, but I’ve discovered they no longer exist. Hope you can

Advice please
Hello, hypothyroid here, currently taking 225mg levothyroxine daily. Visited the Dr (NHS) last week for a few ongoing issues, including a lump in my neck (just right of neck centre) and was seen primarily by a student Dr who’s findings were then discussed/assessed with GP. Very convinced it’s a goitre

What else to increase T3? Tried everything ...
Hello beautiful people, My latest TSH is 0.66 and had to lower thyroxine just a bit (from 100/88 to just 88) as was getting some hyper symptoms and felt way better with a lower dose, finally have energy and drive again! My T4 is healthy range, 60% through. However, my T3 dropped to just 10% of the range

Really low TSH
Hi, I have been on Levothyroxine for about 2 years. I started at 25mcg and have now been worked up to 100mcg. I had a recent TSH check and it’s come back as 0.05. I asked at the reception and was told this result but there was no one to discuss it with. I was called by a nurse the following day. They

Getting Desiccated Thyroid Prescribed on NHS - and how YOU did it?
I have been nudged to create a blog article about getting desiccated Thyroid (NDT) prescribed through the NHS. However, I have no personal experience of this and am asking for help. I’m moderately aware of what has happened in the past. But what I want is to describe the steps to getting a prescription

Help with T3
I would really appreciate some advice please. I have included my original post below. So last week I went to see another Endocrinologist, they confirmed what I was told by the first Endocrinologist who I saw earlier that week - basically as my TSH levels are within range, I did not need an increase
