aneurysm
right in front of us, my husband ended up in hospital unable to walk for the whole of December and then the final cherry was finding out our beautiful big dog had inoperable cancer and we had to make the hardest decision.

Essential key workers with heart disease.
If my work has identfied me as an essential worker, what are my options with Heart disease BV and
aortic
aneurysm
? I work with young adults with special needs and the government has identified these learners as vulnerable. Is there any way I can protect myself?

What's the definition of vulnerable for Corona Virus?
I had open heart surgery 2 years ago for the removal of an
aortic
aneurysm
. I'm taking the usual post heart op medication, as well as a Beta blocker and Apaxiban for slight irregular heart beats.

Newly diagnosed with aortic aneurysm and bicuspid aortic valve
If anyone else has had a combination of Thoracic
Aortic
Aneurysm
and Bicuspid
Aortic
Valve (which I understand are related) or similar symptoms I'd be very interested to hear your experiences. Thanks for indulging my rambling. I started the day feeling pretty miserable but do feel better for it.

How I overcame IBS-D
Dear all, I periodically post this advice to help new-comers to the subject. I consider myself a recovered IBS-sufferer and so like to share what I learned. I hope that you are keeping sane during the lockdown! This is my general approach to help people understand and repair their gastro-intestinal

PKD diagnosis + aortic dissection
Has anyone any experience with
aortic
dissection and PKD as I know an
aneurysm
of the brain/aorta is a linked complication? Any advice would be welcome. Given his age and what he has just been through, these complications are worrying.

Type 2 Diabetes potential home remedy cure
Type 2 diabetes (also called diabetes mellitus) results from the perfect storm of not enough movement, too much of the wrong foods, emotional stress, lack of sleep, toxins, and genetics. More often than not, patients with type 2 diabetes look towards natural medicine in addition to their conventional

Beta blockers for for healthy individuals
I had an
aortic
aneurysm
of 2.5 cm. Informed again that I was fine and that I just needed monitoring. In an attempt to be taken seriously I attended local A & E who arranged a CT scan. As soon as CT scan completed, kept in hospital and had a mechanical aortic valve replacement and hemiarch graft.

New and looking for advice
I discovered that I had a thoracic
aortic
aneurysm
in Feb 2018 after a car accident. I've recently been told that I also have a bicuspid valve, aortic stenosis, a heart murmur, as well as high blood pressure (which I've had since my mid 20's and is controlled with medication).

IBS basics for beginners
Dear all, I have recently been suffering from excess burping and stomach pains for which I became dependent on Nexium for a couple of weeks. I have recently found that this is due mainly to changing from almond milk to lactose free milk, and also because I have been drinking a lot of decaff tea and

My last echo was 3 years ago when the ascending
aortic
aneurysm
was measured at 4. I was told this was fine and I may need a valve replacement in my 50s, I was 35 at the time, now 38.
