Thyroglobulin antibodies test
I tested for thyroid markers recently.I was already diagnosed last summer with hypothyroidism and am medicated with Levothyroxine, so the values of TSH T4 are now in the control range with T3 low borderline. However, anti Tg came positive at 570IU/ml which I understands suggests autoimmune underlying

GAZYVA & VENCLEXTA…I thought it wasn’t working. Apparently it was, extremely well
Had PET scan yesterday, read the report today. I haven’t spoken to my Doc yet. But according to this report there are no signs of enlarged lymph nodes anywhere. Kind of blows my mind, the main reason I started treatment was because of my abdominal pain (which I still have). I am considered high risk

Monitor My Health iron test - lack of ranges
I spent a bit more money on my MMH test this year as I’ve never had an iron panel done but have always had low iron indicators on a full blood test. I didn’t get complete results as ferritin failed (posting the kit back took 48 hours when it was tracked to take 24) but the results I did get, I can’

Latest results, I’m a bit confused
Fresh in today, and I’m amazed at the B12 result! My B12 has been steadily dropping, the last test in March last year showed total B12 at 271 range 145-569, this result is >150 for active B12, there isn’t a result for total but I’m not sure why it’s missing. Can anyone enlighten me? My CRP has shot up

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
Hi. I've had Pbc for 6 yrs now. Recently I've noticed that I am more fatigued than normal. I asked for my blood results over the last 10 yrs . I noticed a progressive decline in my ferritin levels over the last few yes. I had a vitamin b12 level done recently and it was just above the borderline/normal

Help Needed! Have I got Pernicious Anaemia?
I hope this isn't too long and/or too boring. I suspect I have PA but as with a lot of people here, no-one seems to take B12 deficiency seriously. I also have hypothyroidism so as my symptoms got increasingly worse over the past few years, I blamed my thyroid - the two conditions have many symptoms

Given up with GPs!
Sue Johnson gave me lots of advice about ferritin levels. In July my level was 7 and I was prescribed Ferrous fumerate 2 x 210mg per day. This stopped my RLS and I was amazed. However after about a month I felt it creeping back. After 3 months I had a new test and it had gone up to 19. The GP said I

Hi Until December last I was taking 40 mg iron bisglycinate with orange juice every two days. Since this had little impact on my RLS I increased the iron dose to 40mg every day from December until now. As yet I have noticed little change to my RLS symptoms. A blood test this month showed my ferritin

Considering Conception & Ideal Thyroid Levels
Hi all. I finally saw an endocrinologist and they suggested increasing thyroxine dose by 20% when doing an embryo transfer to ensure adequate thyroxine. I asked about FT3 and FT4 levels but they were only interested in TSH which didn’t make sense given it only signals thyroid production and isn’t a thyroid
