Early pregnancy- very low TSH
Hi all, I wanted to get my thyroid levels checked *before* falling pregnant, to make sure that I had good levels for conception ( have previously struggling getting my T3 up and i have read that TSH should be around 1) - However had positive pregnancy tests last two days! I really need some help and advice please.
I am struggling. I quit smoking back when I was 30 and I’ve been unwell ever since. I’m now 38. They put me on levothyroxine about 18 months after I quit smoking because my tsh went up to 11, my free t4 went to the bottom of the normal range, my free t3 went sky high. I also developed antibodies at 350

Update after Endo
Good morning, I'm just writing this as an update to anyone who may be interested in my seemingly-odd case... My Endo appointment went well. (Or so I thought but if you're learning from this post, please read the comments!) She believes I have Graves disease, despite the antibodies indicating Hashimotos

Worried about recent test results
My most recent test results are concerning. I've never had elevated Tg antibodies, only slightly elevatdd Tpo. TPO 210 Tg 971 TSH 1.85 T3 3.2 T4 17.3 What could the high tg anti mean? I'm worried about Thyroid cancer since I have never had this befire and I thought that only tpo was linked to autoimmunity

Test results - can anyone help?
Hi all, Can anyone help interpret my test results and advise on whether I need to work on any of my vitamin levels. Would also be grateful for any advise on thyroid meds so I know what to push for at endo appointment. Results from March (on no medication): Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) 1.930 mIU

Can an increase in thyroxine cause an upset tummy?
I was on 100mc of thyroxine for years. My GP decided to decrease my dose to 75 without any tests or discussion. When I left a message for her to tell her I felt less well on the lower dose she said to alternate 75 and 100 for three months, then get a blood test. Results showed my dose had to go back

Help with adding levo to T3 only
Hi, I've been on T3 only for many years (62.5 mcg). I've switched from levo to T3 only in the time because I had an elevated rT3 and still hypo symptoms despite elevated dose. Every endo I've seen in the last years said I should go back levo because my T3 levels are through the roof. They don't seem

In brief I’m still losing weight, I’m now 46.6kg (no diarrhoea) sleep is still absolutely awful & I’m tired a lot of the time, mentally I’m still very up & down. My resting heart rate has improved a bit recently. I’ve just

Just having a bad day
April hasn't been a good month for me and synotoms. Been on only 50mcg levo since end of September. Only JUST this week got an increase to 75 thanks to the private bloods I did due to recommendations on this site. First I caught a sinus cold at the start of Easter break, which triggered a flare up

Why should ft4 be at a certain percentage through reference range (mid to upper) when on T4/T3 combination therapy when T4 is inactive?
As per the subject title, if ft4 is inactive, then why do some people on T4/T3 therapy only feel good if their ft4 level is at the mid/upper level despite the fact their ft3 (active form) may be at a optimal level? Or if they are not feeling well, why are they advised to increase their Levo dosage if

blue fingers when in hot bath??
Has anyone else had this? It happen to my toes when I was in the shower the other day too. I don’t know if it’s Raynauds or my low ferritin/anemia or what. About to go for a colonoscopy this week for the anemia and a high positive FIT test but I can’t see it being linked to that.

Feeling a bit depressed again with these results......
Just had some bloods done this morning, feeling exhausted this week, no energy, falling asleep all the time despite being on steroids for adrenal insufficiency, feeling a bit nauseous, headachey all week. It seems like all that's changed in 6 months is that my cortisol is lower, my TSH is higher (was
