Not getting any charge from sleep - why?
I'm on
antidepressants
for the usual reason, but to add to the fun, I'm also menopausal. So pesky hormone changes are also a possible cause. Has anyone else found themselves unable to recharge with sleep, and did you find the reason?

Feeling down. Not sure what's wrong 😕
Went back to GP in a state and prescribed
antidepressants
and 10mg propranalol 3 x a day. I asked to see a cardiologist to which GP said she didn't think I needed one but she wrote a loaded one stressing I was extremely anxious and depressed.

SAM-e is it beneficial to Parkinson’s? It increases dopamine
Animal studies show that chronic SAMe administration increases dopaminergic tone in brain regions, including rat striatum (24), and increases CNS beta-adrenergic receptor density and activity (25,26). Thus, studies of central monoaminergic neurotransmitters support proposed mechanisms for SAMe antidepressant

Antidepressant medication use and prostate cancer recurrence in men with depressive disorders.
In Cox proportional hazards multivariable adjusted models, non-use of
antidepressants
was associated with a 34% increased risk of biochemical recurrence compared to antidepressant use (HR = 1.34, 95% CI: 1.24-1.44).

can my thyroid get better without medication?
So bad, I relented and went on
antidepressants
. I've just had another medichecks test and it seems to have sent my results the opposite way. I Haven't done anything different. No medication, haven't gone gluten free....im jst surprised to see levels so low and then go back up again.

Neely Diagnosed
I was diagnosed last August with ET, MPL mutation and platelets between 700-800 range. It has been very hard for me to deal with because I have medical anxiety and always have. I basically tried to ignore it, but with blood tests every 3 months to remind me, that’s not a good long-term coping strategy

Burning feet and aching legs
They have put me on
antidepressants
three times which I have gone along with even though I knew I didn’t need them! All I want to do is to find out what’s wrong with me. Has anyone else experienced similar things?

Trip Therapy
Bolstered by the success of the psilocybin trial in AIDS survivors, UCSF researchers began investigating psychedelics for a variety of disorders. Woolley launched the Translational Psychedelic Research (TrPR, pronounced “tripper”) Program, a consortium of UCSF researchers that is now investigating psilocybin

Who Knew I'd Be Right?
All well known side effects from tricyclic
antidepressants
. I was on a very low dose anyway so cold turkey was ok in my case. I know normally you shouldn't stop such medications abruptly.

Work Impact - comprehension and listening
Also, could my
antidepressants
be impacting the listening issue as well. But it’s not just listening it’s understanding what is being said. I’m also shutting down and pulling away from him and everyone I work with because we are all virtual and I feel like I am alone.

Advice please. RLS
I am also on
antidepressants
(Sertraline ) and have been for many years. I know these are not good to take with RLS , What ones are ok please? I’m hoping the Neurologist will be helpful about iron infusions and willing to prescribe Opiods.

NHS England opening up of GP records is being implemented on 1st November
And we’ll explore a study that’s transforming our understanding of how cancers develop and bring clarity to the confusion around
antidepressants
after a study showed low serotonin levels were not the cause of depression.

Does half dose of sertraline make any difference?
She mentioned other
antidepressants
as an alternative but all of them are listed as having restless legs as side effects. She suggested halving the dose.

Diltiazem and Flecainide Reaction with other Meds.
Hi Everyone. Can anyone help with this?
