My question is: is it ok to take
antibiotics
when on Pred (am pretty sure it must be) but do I need to increase my dosage of 11.5 mg or can I stay on that, while taking them?

Been coughing for 3months
I have since hard 3 courses of
antibiotics
and a chest X-ray revealed a bit of fluid in the lungs, which the consultants do not feel is much of an issue. the coughing is very productive in the morning and then very dry at night and my nose gets blocked as well.

swollen and leaking legs
Gp thought it likely he had cellulitis and a course of
antibiotics
cleared that up but he still has the swelling. He also has lots of blisters that come up and burst. A blood test ruled out the usual heart/liver/kidney causes.

We went to the ER his neutrophils came back fine and he was given oral
antibiotics
as a precautionary measure. However we noticed this normal small bumps forming around that area. Has anyone experience anything similar to this?

gastritis diagnosis
I did have h-pylori which was discovered last year and then after 3 rounds of
antibiotics
was clear (about 6 months ago). They took biopsies at the Endoscopy to find out if it’s bacteria causing it. Anyone else manage to kick chronic gastritis and if so how? Thanks

Another update
For them it may just be a tickly cough, for me it could be several weeks on
antibiotics
. I wear a mask when indoors among strangers e.g. the GP waiting room. Fatigue - when first released a walk to the end of the road laid me out for a couple of days. The sights and sounds were too much stimuli.

SIBO!!! But fearing taking antibiotics, especially Neomicyn… I’ve heard of terrible side effects ( tinnitus and hearing loss).
It may be sensible to consider treatment with non-absorbable
antibiotics
. If you would like to consider
antibiotics
, I would suggest a combination of both RIFAXIMIN and NEOMYCIN for a total of 7 days." Have any of you tried them? Advice? results? THANK YOU> 🙏🙏

Dietary Probiotics and antibiotics
I’m currently in the middle of a week long course of flucloxacillin. Plus also on low fodmap elimination phase to help with IBS stuff. Ideally I’d like to support my gut with dietary probiotics rather than taking tablets (as I hate taking them usually) and wondered if any members with experience

Heart Attack
Things are complicated by type 2 Diabetes, peripheral neuropathy and osteomyelitis, though the bone and skin infection has come under control in the last few weeks after
antibiotics
. He has a distrust of doctors and a reluctance to seek help and is exhausted and often wants to just give up.

Can b12 be administered together with proton pump inhibitors?
He bombarded my system with
antibiotics
and proton pump inhibitors. After three months, I was still feeling lethargic, dizzy, tingling sensation on my hands and feet, fatigued and stomach pains. In addition, I had sleeplessness, low concentration, confusion and forgetfulness among other symptoms.

infection
He’s on IV
antibiotics
. His fever is back down and he’s asymptomatic other than a high heart rate. Doctors want to keep him for observation and see if his bloodwork cultures since right now, they don’t know the source of the infection. Has anyone dealt with this before? What was the outcome?

Injections stopped.
Then I had
antibiotics
for a water infection, Nitrofurantoin.By day 3 of
antibiotics
I began to feel off. Mouth coated with something, (thrush) eyes not good, headaches, nervous, limping a bit, hot spark-like tingling, tired on waking. Lots of the improved symptoms returned with vengeance.
