Can APS be contrubutury to angina?
Hi. So I know that antiphosphipid syndrome can cause miscarriage, and stroke. But can it be the cause of angina?

I've had cabg heart op after heart attack back 21 years ago. Always since then I've had pain in left side of chest under ribs at bottom. I blamed it on the heart op. I've recently had lung function tests at hospital and apparently I have chronic childhood asthma! Is that causing all the pain and tight

Do I have coronary artery spasm/ variant angina?
For the past 4 months I have had intense chest pain most mornings when I awake, feeling like a crushing ache which spreads down my left arm and shoulder. It lasts up to 30 mins unless I use a triglyceral nitrate spray. I have had numerous ECGs, stress tests, heart MRI scans and CT scans of the arteries

BP drugs
I'm prescribed Candesartan and Diltiazem for my Angina. Is it safe to take them both as my BP has dropped quite a bit.

Newly diagnosed with variant/vasospastic angina (coronary artery spasm) and worried about the future
Hi. Im 46 and had a cardiac arrest at home on 25 Jan 2021 - was in hospital for over 3 weeks but thankfully, I have recovered fully now. About 10 days after that event and after lots of tests, the consultants eventually diagnosed variant/vasospastic angina (coronary artery spasm), having seen it on ECG

Things seem

Sudden sharp pain in chest
Yesterday as we were lying in bed the wife turned to me and suddenly experienced a 10 out of 10 pain in her chest under her left breast. The pain remained at that level so I dialled 999 and the paramedics attended. The pain subsided to a dull ache whilst they were at home but as the pain was still present

Hi, just had my phone appointment and scheduled for this test.Has anyone any experience with this test, and how useful it is for revealing microvascular angina or coronary spasm? Thanks in advance.

Blocked Artery
I live in Spain and was diagnosed with Angina some years ago and prescribed medication. After a few years my condition got worse I was given an angiogram, when they discovered a totally blocked artery. I was told that it was impossible to fit a stent and that it was not necessary to have a heart bypass

Angina? Or Anxiety? 28 year old.
So, I want to begin my saying I'm 28 years old and in very good shape. BP is normal, Resting HR is usually around 50-60bpm at rest, SpO2 is always in normal range of 96-100%, and every cardio test I've taken has revealed no abnormalities. I did have my first AF episode in February but had nothing since
