What really happened?
I was told at the time that mine was the longest
angioplasty
they had done in 3 years and that the doctor who performed it was 'not the usual doctor' so I've wondered ever since what really happened and why.

Arm pain
I had
angioplasty
procedure. My recovery is going well albeit slowly. The area that I am looking for some advice on is the pain that I have felt in my upper arms since then. I thought this would have subsided but mI still have it.

Might have asked this before…..
So, I’m 56 yo now, and had an interesting experience about 7 years ago where I had two angiograms and a partial
angioplasty
, where I had a severe reaction to the contrast dye. I still had issues and as a result I had a CABG in 2016.

Ramipril Or Reflux - Unsure What Is Causing My Cough
Hi I had a heart attack followed by an
angioplasty
last month, and I am on the meds listed at the end of this message. In general terms I feel really good since the stent was fitted, and five weeks in I’m walking as much as I used to, but am still taking it easy in terms of strenuous activity.

Said he had atrial fibrillation and he also needs an
angioplasty
. Took too long but finally got everything treated and surgery done. He has always had lower than normal blood pressure and it can change rapidly from scary low to his normal low in minutes.

Recovering from Arterial ulcer on left leg, which needed
angioplasty
to restore the blood flow below the knee. Healing better than expected. Then I managed to fall out of our home lift and break my left femur, near the replacement knee which has been put in 23 years ago.

So I had my angiogram today. Told doctor I had read up on PCI v medical therapy and the fact there’s no difference in outcome - so I don’t want a stent unless it’s absolutely necessary. Anyway, angiogram showed 90% stenosis of the LAD (proximal). When Dr showed me how much vessel would be cut off if

Any advice, post angiogram
I have a relative, currently 67 years of age. At age 36 had 3 angioplasties done, at age 55 had quintuple bypass and now at age 67 recently had an angiogram. Family history 9 siblings all have high cholestrol. Father deceased from colon cancer at age 41 too long ago didn't test for cholestrol. Mother

That is why I was put forward for an angiogram and
angioplasty
as they were all prepared to stent me , and were surprised to see no obstructions.

So got two calls from the NHS today - 1 setting my telephone appointment with the cardiologist next week and the 2nd setting my appointment for the procedure the week after. I’m concerned they’ve contacted me quickly because my heart is in more trouble than I’d care to imagine… I know the risk of serious

More on statins
actually been tolerating ADT quite well over the past year but beginning in January I started feeling tightness in chest, low endurance, out of breath, heavy fatigue, attributing all to Xtandi...Then in May I fainted after getting up from the couch so the old lady took me to the ER...I had an emergency
