Apologies
I was in hospital a total of eight days; being discharged the day after the
angioplasty
. I found everything very traumatic and am still angry as heck at the fact that despite low cholesterol I had a heart attack.

Aortic root dilation
My RCA was completely blocked, and I had an
angioplasty
inserted. I also have some stenosis of the LAD & LAX. I'm not concerned about any of these, but I did have an echo done before discharge, and was told I have some dilation of the aortic root.

Informed
After the failed
angioplasty
hubby received an appointment with a cardio nurse where we have been today. We have come away fully informed and reassured plus told to ring at anytime if we have any concerns or questions. Can’t praise the nurse enough.

Latest Update
Hopefully, that is it now as I would like a rest from Angiograms /
Angioplasty
for a while. I’m hoping I don’t get the problems with unstable angina but still have to use the GTN spray when and if needed.

How I Conquered Heart-Disease and What I Have Learned in the Process
This ended in May of 2016 for me on the 12-month anniversary of my last
angioplasty
(stenting). By summer's end of 2016 I was only taking metoprolol and 5 mg of Crestor. I saw my cardiologist for a routine follow up and he was very pleased with my progress.
