Hubby had a heart attack early Dec. After a angiogram which we had hoped would lead to stents we were shocked at being told stents not an option. A triple hear by pass was considered at a MDT meeting as the only option. Now awaiting an appointment with cardio thoracic surgeon. After the failed angioplasty hubby received an appointment with a cardio nurse where we have been today. We have come away fully informed and reassured plus told to ring at anytime if we have any concerns or questions. Can’t praise the nurse enough.

6 months on from triple heart bypass for my husband! All good and the care received first class and this forum a great help! Best to read my posts re getting fit as possible for the op... really worth it! Best of luck! X
